As a side note, if you choose to use this method, a crush fit if you will, you might want to run just your brass into your chamber to make sure the bolt will close on all of it before you take it hunting, just in case a second shot might be needed. Wouldn't be to funny if your much needed second shot wouldn't chamber.

I remember it. The end of Woody at Ohio State. I guess you can't punch a player on the opposite team or your team, as did Kush.

Wonder how all those people made it all the way through Mexico without being funded by someone. I have often seen Border Patrol buses sitting beside the road not to far from the border, with illegals sitting in them enjoying the AC on the American taxpayers dime. Why not have them out picking up their own trash before being sent back?

Remington Model 600 243 question

Here is a page from Blue Book of Gun Values, 38th Edition for what it's worth. The way I look at it, selling a gun on here or anywhere else for that matter, is like talking to Santa Claus, you might get what you want out of it and you might not. -
Maybe the guy had a pipe in his pocket, maybe he didn't. He did something wrong then corrected it. He has a working conscience. If he didn't bring the stuff back then certainly a beat down, but not for bringing it back.

It was good enough for Tom Horn.

I wonder how much money was involved on both sides?

It wasn't that long ago when it was From My Cold Dead Hands, now it's let's just go ahead and turn them in. My butt!

At my age I'm forgetting more and more, especially some of the things my wife tells me to do, but I'm going to try and remember this!

If you want some bad enough to pay a hazmat, try powdervalley.

selling guns and reloading stuff

Not to mention, getting to converse with all the tire kickers and low ballers. -
Delw, when your Daughter processes into what ever branch of the service she is going into, they will ask her what state she wants for her Home of Record. If she says Arizona, it will not matter if she is guarding the flag that marks the north pole, she will still be an AZ resident, as far as the state sees it.
-
Delw, as long as she claims Arizona as her home of record when she goes in, she will be able to apply for a tag as an AZ resident.

In the early 80's, when I was looking to buy a gun and start hunting again I was told to get a .270, 30-06, or a 7mm mag, and I could hunt anything in Arizona, probably still true today.
-
Has anyone tried these bullets yet? I loaded up some 165gr 7mm bullets in my 7mm Mag today, just a first time outing, but so far not to impressed. The gun shoots Sierra GameKings moa. Sierra has a video of them, but it didn't show any groups that they shot at the range.

Couldn't get the 160gr .284 bullets to group in a 7 mag or a .280 Rem, but the 140gr .277 bullets will shoot! -
I do have that Javelina book put out by GandF in my library. My personal thoughts are although interesting, there are a couple of threads on here and Javelinahunter.com that offer valuable information also!

Nice Deer! Getting it done with a .270.

Great place for FFL transfers.

No need to waste time and money on a book. The two basics are number one they stink, and number two they aren't the best tablefare. That being said they are fun to hunt.
-
Might want to get with someone who knows something about the 94's. On the earlier models they were 30 WCF, not 30-30.
-
From what I've seen on here, you have excellent taste in firearms!

I'm assuming that Red Rabbit is a male, so my boat don't float that way! Besides I'm married and my wife is a good enough shot to hit me anyway.

I've been in canyons in southern AZ where 300 yards was a close shot.
