Years ago I saw one in a .280 Rem that would rival a bolt at 100 with three shots, but those type are few and far between.

Winchester 70, .270, 24 inch barrel, pristine condition, looks brand new, less than 100 rounds down barrel, shot so so when I got it, had it rebedded, shoots lights out. The pic is with this gun at 100 yards with some ammo that I put together for another gun. 750.00. Ruger Mark ll,.270, 22 inch barrel, got this one used, no idea of round count, shot about an inch and a half, bone stock rifle. 500.00 Savage 11, 6.5 Creedmore, 22 inch barrel, less than 75 rounds down the tube, comes with 50 pieces of Hornady brass, what's left of two boxes of Winchester 140 grn. Match ammo, and RCBS dies. 500.00. The Winchester and the Savage have been broken in using the 20 shot method. I don't get an e-mail notification of a PM, so if you PM me, let me know in a post and I will get back with you. Would only let me post one pic of the Ruger and none of the Savage. If you want pics PM me.

Brunos had some actions on the shelf last time I was there. Didn't pay any attention to the size of them.

.308 Secret Sauce??? (Loading Question)
10Turkeys replied to Stallone A.'s topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Been years since I shot a .308, but when I did it was 4064 or 4895, which ever I had at the time. As a side note WW-748 worked great also, but was really temp sensitive. -
Ran into several of those in the Santa Ritas a few years back, they had been salvaged and it appeared that they had been there for awhile, maybe drug runners whose elevation knowledge was a tad off?
-
That one looks pretty healthy.

There was a wood stock Savage 30-06, on Back page for 325.00.
-
I plugged one with a 94 30-30 over 25 years ago, absorbed a few rounds of 125gr Sierras.

Here is the data from #10. Nothing for an 80gr with Re15, but data for a 75gr bullet.

Remington 700 .270 classic version from '82ish, unfired like new
10Turkeys replied to dpr64's topic in Classified Ads
Try it on Gunbroker. I had a bid on a 700 Classic started at 500.00, wasn't half as pretty as this one, the last hour it shot up to 651.00. -
The Kingdom, with Jamie Foxx. Filmed at the old Williams AFB.

I won a certificate for a free reamer from them a Couple years ago. I ordered a go/no go gauges to go with the reamer. Was so screwed up I cancelled the order, Three weeks after I did, I was charged for the gauges. Don't know how they keep their doors open. No problems with JGS.

Just ordered myself a new rifle
10Turkeys replied to kazpilot25's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Check out Gunbroker for a Browning shells canyon. -
Thanks, Clint and everyone else that replied.

I have shot these in a .260,6.5 CM,.270 Win, and the best group that I can get is between an inch and a half to two inches. Most are loaded 12-15 thousands off the lands. A bud of mine loaded some up in his Tikka 30-06 same deal. Anyone have any luck with these?

That's what I understand, that the salts in the blueing just can't be dumped in the sink or toilet.
-
Due to the EPA regs most places don't do blueing anymore. It's been years but I heard that VanHorn in Gilbert was still doing it. If not try the Blues Brothers in PV. 928-308-7732.

This is the last post I will make on this subject. First off Hoghntr says that I called him a blank, blank, bank, that is a lie I never cussed him, second I never threatened him with any harm. Third it was agreed that the gun might not be used for those two causes, but to be used for someone in need. He had my gun for over a year and a half. When I picked up my gun, which I will say this, it looked the same as when I gave it to him, he wanted to shake my hand, which I refused for the simple fact that I'm old fashioned, when I shake someone's hand it means something. Seems like I read something somewhere about telling a tree by its fruit.

hoghntr, I am assuming from the post that you and Casey have had, that he pretty much thinks you're an asshole, as do I. No need to stir anything up between us.
