These are great glass, better than anything else in that price range. Whoever ends up with these will not be disappointed.

I’m having the exact same problem. I click on the link in my email and I try the new username and password they gave me and it says invalid username.

    Are the snakes stil out?

Yep, the good guys get to stay and do their thing. Fortunately most of the snakes I saw this year in the neighborhood were gopher snakes. Seems like they’ve been doing really well the last few years around my neck of the woods.

Almost stepped on a very small gopher snake last night while walking the dog. They’re still out.

    My Mentor

I may be wrong in this because it’s coming from the memory I had as a teenager, but I believe he was on the rifle shooting team at U of A, probably sometime in the 70’s. I also think I remember hearing that he was heavily involved in a southern Arizona varmint hunting club, maybe even the president. I don’t know what he did for work, but I know that when I knew him he did not hunt at all anymore, but was big time into doing photography. I don’t remember him being big as in husky, seemed like a little taller than normal and more of a skinny build.

    My Mentor

Tony, did you know Bruce Tucker? He was my neighbor across the street from us when I was a teenager in the nineties. He was really big in the AZ varmint hunting scene back in the day, not sure when exactly. I remember him mentioning at one time that Bill Quimby did a write up about a trip they were both on. The first big game animal I ever killed was on a rifle javelina hunt in 36C around 25 years ago when I was 13 or 14. Bruce had told my dad exactly where to go. My dad would know more about Bruce and his story.

BOLO: Stolen camp trailer from San Tan Valley

What really sucks is now their insurance goes up because of a claim against them, even if it wasn’t their fault. I had a truck stolen and totaled in 2012 and even though they caught the guys, and they did time on a plea deal, I now had an insurance claim against me and my rates went up.

    anyone see this

I had two different co-workers lose teenage children in ATV accidents within a few weeks of each other this Summer. I cannot imagine the pain of that. Life is fragile, do not ever take it for granted.

Tony, you have made great contributions(I know that is very much understated) to this forum and to the hunting community as a whole since long before I was born. All of my interactions with you on this site and Facebook have been great. I really feel for you for what you are going through right now. You are in my thoughts and prayers that you will get the proper treatment and relief for your situation.

    Granite Mountain IHC

I had the same thought, but he might have meant to click the thumbs up and hit the other by accident and didn’t realize it. I’ve done that myself before but luckily realized it and fixed it pretty quickly.

Got hit for 1 deer tag, hoping a 2nd pending charge comes in as I put both my son and I on this card.

Beater car about to be for sale

This is awesome! IMO, you're doing this parenting thing right. Well used cars are the best for new driving teenagers. I scored a great deal on a 2005 Toyota Corolla that runs great and AC blows cold, but outside it's not the greatest. Has some minor hail damage. Got it for $1000. It has 233,000 miles and drives like it's good for another 150,000. This is for my oldest who turns 16 in September. It was a proud dad moment to see her excitement despite the exterior blemishes.

    Look for advice on boots

I'll add my two cents to the conversation. I bought some Salomon 4d Quest GTX a few weeks ago. I put a few miles on them the next morning in some rough country with a fairly light pack. Those combined with some Darn Tough hiking socks and I was really impressed. They feel sturdy but comfortable with adequate ankle support for me. It's not a very big sample size, but initially I am very happy with them. An added bonus was glassing up 16 deer 😉

I don’t have the iPhone XR anymore, I traded it in for the 11. I have the phoneskope setup for the iPhone XR.

    Phone adapter

Which phone do you have? I have the set up for iPhone XR but I now have an iPhone 11. I’d sell it to you for cheaper than Phonskope will.

    Build your own pool

Pretty sure the OP wasn't asking if he should get a pool or not. His question and the advice he was seeking was about going the build it yourself route versus using a pool builder. I know from years of seeing your posts that your reading comprehension is at about a third grade level, so I'll give you a pass on this one 😉
