I was down south on Friday and it felt like an October hunt.

Is there a limit on the amount of tickets sold, or will it go until Feb 15 regardless? -
How is this still on here??? There are a lot of kids that get on this site.

This is a great deal. I have the same pair and I can glass comfortably all day. I have been able to see the spikes on a very small buck at close to a mile when on a stable tripod setup. There is no comparable 10x bino in this price range. Zeiss has also stepped up big time in the warranty department.

I can't do the type of hunting that I want to do right now because I am not in good enough shape. I killed a small buck in 24B in November and the pack out just about killed me, because of the shape that I am in. It was about 2 miles and 700' elevation gain to get the buck out. I know that there are great hunters who are not in the best shape, and others who are in excellent shape that aren't very good hunters. I just want to get in better shape so that I can get further away from the crowds without having to dread the return trip too much.

I hunted 36C Friday and Saturday and saw ZERO rutting activity. Weather was great and deer were out all day. We hit a few different spots and saw over 60 deer both mulies and coues yesterday.

Selfishly I hope this doesn't sell for a few weeks until I can grab it. I've been using the same Eberlestock X1 for about 7-8 years now and it's too small for what I want to do. I've had my eye on this exact pack for a while now. At this price it should go quick.

Congrats on getting a very nice buck with limited time.

My wife and her sisters just made 270 tamales yesterday. And yes, they were all born and raised in Sonora Mexico so they know what they're doing I can't wait for Christmas Eve. It's no wonder I have a hard time losing weight.

I saw two bucks sparring and chasing a doe in the Dripping Springs area on December 4th.

That is an unbelievable deal on the swaros. Somebody will jump on those quick. -
Excellent write up and awesome story. Looking forward to more pictures and the story of Cody's buck. I don't know how you guys pass up bucks waiting for a giant. I see a little forky and I can't help myself. Congratulations!

There just aren't words to describe how incredible that buck is. A huge congrats to you. I can't wait for the story.

I bought the Zeiss Conquest HD 10x42 a few months ago and love them. You can find them new for around $900 if you shop around a little. I haven't compared them to the others you mentioned but they definitely are top of the line glass. Zeiss has also stepped up their warranty. The outdoorsman stud works on them too.

No problem. Glad I could help. Jordan was with me when I got my buck yesterday and he's super stoked to start hunting.

This is very well said and mirrors my experience exactly. I have been using Nikon Monarch 12x42 for the last 8 years or so. I always tried to justify that they were good enough. They were your typical $350 binos, not bad, but not great either. For many years I justified that they were good enough, even though secretly I always wanted to upgrade. Well, I decided that I was going to upgrade to one of the big three. I went with the new Zeiss Conquest HD 10x42. My experience was exactly the same as yours. They were clearer and much more crisp. It may not make sense, but the picture through the glass just looked more "real." With my old Nikons I could only glass for an hour at most before I had to take a break. With my Zeiss I couldn't stop glassing all day. There was zero strain and it didn't feel like a chore to be looking through them all day. The old cliche is true.....My only regret is that I didn't upgrade sooner.

Coues deer in Sonora or Chihuahua Mexico.

That was a great video. Very well done. And props to you on sitting about 100 hours more than I can handle. I'm sure your hard work and persistence will pay off.
