FS- Cabelas / Meopta 10x42 Euro HD Binoculars (New)
daryl_s replied to Stephen b's topic in Classified Ads
Honestly I asked for anyone interested not just myself. I know this member had 4 nice items for sale that Sold so little feedback gonna help his sale to me or others. Nobody ever wants to speak up and ask but I can handle the ridicule. avg Joe says Stephen b good to go and says his 12's are awesone! We lack the ability of verifying good and bad before sending cash and we have all Seen few had out of state dudes pop up on here that were not legit. Thanks Stephen b for being legit and a dang sure have good taste in optics. And sts45 your ridiculous. Hoghntr I didn't mean it as ridicule, just a friendly suggestion. Anybody who might be interested had the same ability to pm. Again, just a friendly suggestion. Another bump here. Good luck with the sale. -

Maybe just shoot them a pm and ask if they can provide a local reference. That way you avoid all of this. If they can't and you don't feel comfortable with the deal, you don't do it. Just an idea. -
It means the world to a kid, even high school age, to know that his father is proud of him. Brag away. I was very successful in AZ high school sports back in the late 90's and now my nine year old son is following that same pattern. I love it. I brag to everybody about my son Keep it up Nick!!!

Good luck! We're all looking forward to success pictures and story.

Who would have thought that Oregon would get man handled the way they did by Utah on their home field?!
-
I plan on moving to Idaho near Idaho Falls next September and this is one of the things that I am looking forward to more than anything else. Thanks for sharing your pictures.

IMO buying a 2 wheel drive quad would be like buying a 2 wheel drive truck. It's a quad, why wouldn't you get 4 wheel drive?

Giant Archery Arizona Coues Buck by Hunter James Dudley

I finally got around to listening to this podcast. What an amazing story. I love that everything came together for you. You definitely deserved this buck. One question that I had as I listened: I believe you said the other two bucks were with your buck when you found him on the day that you got him. How did they factor into the stalk as far as having to avoid the extra noses and eyes? -
You work for QT? My bro in law won one of the trips last year.

Is it illegal to pay in the form of a few cuts of the meat? I ask out of genuine curiosity. If I was up there I'd help for free. Very cool of those who already offered help.

It seems like no matter what the circumstances of the hunt are, any time pictures of a huge buck get posted the thread ends up turning ugly. I love to see the pictures and hear the story of every single deer harvested, big or small. I really appreciate Brandon taking the time to share his story and pictures. What an amazing buck. I know a lot of guys kill big bucks and we never hear about it or see any pictures because of the negative remarks of others.

On a side note, my vortex tripod also suffered as part of my mishap and I sent them to Vortex along with sending the binos to Nikon on Tuesday around 1 PM. I've already got a tracking number from Vortex and my tripod will be back to me this coming Wednesday. Now that's some great customer service.

It won't be a lot, but you should be able to cut the steaks with a fork. My first buck was like that.

It was nice to meet you Vincent. I'm looking forward to putting the bow to work.

I've used Randy's Transmission in Mesa for a lot of work, including a transmission rebuild. He's always done great work for me and he is honest. http://www.randystransmissions.com

That would make a really cool desktop background on your computer.

I like it so far. I wish they would have done it sooner.

I have 3 boys ages 2 to 8. I can totally relate. This was one of my favorite posts in a long time. Thanks for sharing with us. -
I love this post! Brag all day long. I think that it is great that he has the support of his parents for what he loves to do. I was a basketball nut in high school, but my dad didn't think there was any value in the summer camps. I never got to go to any of them. I played on an undefeated junior varsity team as a sophomore at Mountain View in Mesa. My junior year I missed the varsity team by two spots. That team finished ranked 7th in the country by USA Today. I now have 3 boys of my own and I will support them 100% in whatever they decide they want to do. My 8 year old is a sports nut and is really excelling at soccer. I've had people that played professional soccer tell me that he has all the tools to go as far as he wants with it. This wasn't a club guy trying to sell me a club team membership either. Going to my kids sporting events is tops on my list of things I like to do. Tell your son to keep up the hard work and that we're cheering for him.

I'm pretty sure I've read all, or at least most of the comments on this thread. The one thought that keeps coming back to me is that your ex is probably super stoked for his tag and running into you hasn't even crossed his mind. A man's mind works totally different than a woman's. We don't worry about the same things. I'm sure he's daydreaming of arrowing a huge bull instead of passing the time wondering who he may or may not see during his hunt. -
I'll bet his insurance on the truck would cover it, but he probably doesn't want to pay the deductible and have his rate go up. Just a bad deal all the way around.

I took my wife and kids(ages 1-9) up there last year and they loved it. We drove up in the morning and made a day trip out of it. It was very cool to meet other members there and see such an amazing collection of antlers.
