I've got to go with Coach and CouesAZ. I love to see the local guys succeed. My little girl just turned 6 and made her cheerleading debut today, Go Poston Butte Broncos. My nephew plays on the team and my niece also does cheer with my daughter. Today's game took priority over chasing deer this morning. These coaches and parents that run these youth league teams really put a lot of time and dedication into coaching these kids. Cards and ASU come next. Either way it's great to be back in football season.

Max-1 and Natural Gear are both pretty good in the lower areas I hunt. Whatever camo you choose make sure you wash your clothing in something that is scent free and contains no UV brighteners. That's the exact same rifle I'm shooting. It liked the Hornady better than the Federal Premium and the 130 gr interbonds have a higher ballistic coefficient than everything except the Berger, if I remember correctly.

This is incorrect information. Look at the tag itself. You might as well consider the December and January seasons as 2 separate seasons. Your 2010 tag expires December 31, 2010 and you will need a new tag for January 2011.

That is very cool. It looks like maybe he was shot and then healed up. If this is the case, could that have caused the non-typical growth???? Very cool either way and I hope you get to harvest him when he's ready for you.

I hate scorpions!!! I have 3 little kids and we live right next to the edge of the desert. My 13 year old nephew got stung last year and had a bad reaction. It affected his motor skills so bad that he couldn't walk or talk and was drooling all over himself. My wife would probably go nuts if she found a scorpion in the diaper bag or baby's room. It's good to know that you found them. Crazy stuff!! A neighbor got stung by a baby rattlesnake while taking out the trash about 6 weeks ago and ended up in intensive care. Not a big fan of the poisonous critters.

My gun groups Hornady the best. For deer I am shooting the 130 gr interbonds. Your best bet is to follow everyone's advice and shoot a bunch of the premium ammo and see what your gun groups the best.

I don't blame you Blake. One of the guys I work with has a TOAD on camera and some of his once thought of good friends have gone to the point of even trying to figure out when he's going and follow him. It's disgusting the lengths some guys will go to and the friendships they will ruin over a deer. I'm actually surprised I haven't seen a picture of it here with someone trying to claim they got it on "their" camera. I really hope he can arrow this deer because TOAD is a huge understatement.

There's not enough room in the cafeteria for the construction portion of the job site. A handful of people from the construction side used to go there regularly until "blue badges" complained that it was taking them too long to get their food. It's understandable though, we still have it better than 95% of job sites.

I'll have to keep an eye out for you Jerry. John and Beau, I am one of the lunch tent exiles so you are welcome to come slum it with me anytime, haha . I used to hit up the cafeteria but they shut us down on that a few weeks ago.

I work for a sub contractor (Rosendin Electric) normally Mon-Thu 6-4:30. I work mostly in the sub fab but occasionally have to venture into the fab. A lot of the Harder Mechanical guys that I work around are really into hunting.

Doug, how likely do you think it is that you will have any of the 6.5-20x50 left this time next week????? Preferably target dot but I would be fine with v-plex. I would like to get one but should probably wait until this time next week. I realize it's hard to say for sure since hunting season is fast approaching.

They say they'll be ready for the Ironman Triathlon in November. It seems like there will be a lot to do between now and then to have the lake ready. It would be a huge loss economically for the valley if Tempe doesn't pull it off.

Out of those 3 I would go with the Vortex. My reasoning would be the warranty and the higher magnification. All 3 are good scopes and I'm sure you'll be happy with whatever you end up with.

36c oct for my dad and I. 36c nov-dec for brother in law. 23 jr for my nephew. I'm most excited about the jr tag for my nephew. 2 of my brother in laws that have never hunted are also now interested in putting in for leftover tags. We've done some recruiting for G&F. That really sucks that no one stopped to help you. We had a transmission go out on us right in the middle of the scenic drive between Sedona and Flagstaff on a windy road. All the Mercedes and Cadillacs honked, flipped us off and told us to "get out of the road" and finally a guy in a beat up old Jeep pulled us up to an opening and called a tow truck when he got to Flagstaff. This was back before anybody had cell phones. It's too bad most people will just drive on by. Hopefully the next trips will be a lot less stressful.

I'm envious!!!!! Great looking mounts and wall. I hope to have a wall like that someday. The different characteristics of each buck make it look even better.
