Can you tell?
daryl_s replied to bowhuntinmaniac's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
That is awesome. Non-typicals are my favorites. I have never seen one out in the field. Good luck baggin that one. -
Awesome pictures. I love the San Carlso/Guaymas area. My wife and I have a timeshare down there and love it. Right now I'm working on my open water scuba certification. I think it's so cool how the desert goes all the way up to the ocean water. My wife and I drove back past the fishing village up the coast and did some exploring last time we were down there. A few coves back in there is a small island with cactus on it, it looks really neat. I'll post the pictures when I find them. Also, I believe the "chichis" mountain is more commonly known as "Tetakawi Peak" which means the same thing in I don't know which Indian dialect. I haven't been up there but I have heard that there are tons of rattlers in that area.

Looks like a nice buck..........and La Virgen de Guadalupe in the second one. -
Sorry to hear about your loss......Early this morning at 1 AM I got a phone call to go pick up my wife's sister and bro-in-law because they came out of the movies at 12:30 and their 2004 Dodge Durango was gone. This happened at Stapley/Baseline. The bad part is he came home from Iraq a week and a half ago and has to go back this Thursday. It was the only vehicle they had. Now he has to go buy a new car before he leaves and this being with credit problems because of his ss # being stolen and used a few months ago. It sickens me the amount of low lifes out there. I hope they catch these people and hopefully you can get your stuff back. Good luck.

Just my 2 cents but I have no problem supporting a Japanese company that is bringing good paying jobs to the U.S. I personally like Chevy the best. http://uaw.org/uawmade/auto/2007/index.cfm

Isn't funny how they know when it's not hunting season??? That's a great picture, I'd try to keep tabs on that guy.

I would worry more about the card being blank if it was from somebody who signed up for a coueshitetail.com membership today or recently but coues7 has been on here for a long time and is a regular poster. If I was looking to buy stuff from Sportsmans I would get it but I'm not in the market for it right now.

congrats to the ASU women's track team for just winning the national championship in track and field. They won the outdoor and indoor national championships this year, one of only three schools to ever do so in the same year. oh yeah, bring on UC Irvine and the CWS!!!!!

Hate is a very strong word!!! -
My dad just had a rifle rebarreled for long range coues hunting. It is a 25 Van Horn Express. He is looking at the Leupold VX II 6-18x40, VX III 6.5-20x50, and the Burris Black Diamond 6-24x50 scopes. Do any of you have experience with any of these scopes and if so what would you recommend?? Thanks.

Crazy Pets
daryl_s replied to Coues 'n' Sheep's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
That is way cool, a squirrel for a pet. I have a friend who grew up in Duncan and claims he had a pet Bobcat from the time it was a little Kitty. He said it would catch birds and bring them in the house and eat them in front of the TV. Cool stories. -
Actually, it's only a swear word depending on which spanish speaking country you are in . But I guess since we are closest to Mexico we can say it's a swear word.

The house looks beautiful, not to mention the satisfaction of having done it yourself. I hope to do the same someday.

That's way cool, congratulations.

That is probably the funniest shirt I have ever seen in my life. Hilarious
