not a very good idea to join a site, ask for advice and then talk smack to the people who are giving it to you . good response bowhuntinmaniac, most people wouldn't have been so nice.

Favorite Mounts
daryl_s replied to Red Rabbit's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
Here is my one and only mount so far. It's not the biggest of mounts but the memories that it brings back are real hard to top. -
I highly recommend the stickers. It's really cool when you run into someone else that has one. I get a lot of thumbs up driving down the freeways too. It's a good way to show support of our favorite website. I have always been against putting stickers on my car but when I got my CWT sticker I hurried outside and put it on in the dark of night. If you look close you can tell it's a little crooked.......I just couldn't wait until the next day . It's the white Blazer with AZ4Life's red Dakota.

It's really cool to see kids get so excited over finding something that a lot of people might just overlook or not care enough to bring home and clean up. Maybe he'll get hooked just like us!!! Cool find and story.

Happy Birthday Marlon !!!! Wish for a B&C coues when you blow out the candles.

That elk scores 394 4/8 and is #40 in the Arizona Wildlife Trophies 2005 book for non-typical elk. What an amazing find. I just got the book this past weekend and recognized her name as I was looking at the records.

I didn't get an email, but anytime I tried to get on CWT.com it wouldn't load properly and Norton gave me a message saying that a recent attempt to attack my computer was blocked, Thank you Norton. Good to be back on, I've been missing my favorite website.

I don't get this whole hunter oppurtunity thing?????? The draw success given in the back of the regulations has plenty of units with a 100% draw success, yet we are going to give more tags to those hunts and take away from December????? 36B is one of the best units in the state and with plenty of trophy bucks and they had a 100% draw success for October. If people don't get drawn it's because they don't know how to fill out a form, don't know how to read the stats, or they are holding out for a Dec tag(which there will be less of.). I am yet to draw a Dec tag in my life......I put in for Dec hunts for my first 4 choices and October for my last. I get drawn every year. I think the vast majority of hunters on this site understand how to get drawn and have made it very clear through the survey what it is that they want. I would much rather hunt in December but October or November beats sitting at home. If the draw succes rates are already so high(assuming you know how to put in), then why take away from the quality hunts saying that you need more hunter oppurtunity

sweet truck, congrats !!! when I asked for my cwt sticker i couldnt believe how fast i got it, it looks like thats all youre missin.

I can't stop laughing . This is a fun topic to read. It cracks me up to see some guys taking the "bait" and letting Lark get them all worked up. Anyways, I say hunt how you want as long as it's legal.

Minutemen to Patrol AZ border in April
daryl_s replied to az4life's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
The problem isn't at the border it's here.......BP catches thousands of illegals every month and they just keep coming. The guy they catch and send back on Monday comes back to cross again on Tuesday. The problem is that once they get to Phoenix or LA or Denver or wherever they go to it is very easy for them to work, get a car, cell phone whatever. It's way too easy for them to do all of that stuff. They get food stamps, free health care from ACCESS, etc. As long as it's easy for them to make a life here they are going to do it, no matter how illegal it is. One person gets here, finds a job the next day cutting grass for $8 an hour, gets home, calls his buddy back in Mexico who makes $15 a day and tells him about how good it is here and how easy it is to make a life here, illegal or not. There are so many loopholes for them it is not funny and until that changes they are not going to stop coming. My sister is having a pool built at her new house out in Queen Creek. She went out today when they were working on it and not a single one of them spoke English. Who's going to hold companies responsible for hiring people who don't legally have the right to work in this country??? Until somebody does hold them responsible they are going to keep hiring them because it is cheap labor. To me that's where the problem is. I agree with you guys saying that something has to be done to stop illegal immigration, but even if you build a 30 ft wall all the way across the southern border, as long as it is as easy as it is for them to make a life here then they will find a way to get across. I'm not opposed to immigration and I don't have a problem with people from other countries, I just have a problem with illegal immigration. Anyways, that's the way I see it. -
Beautiful gun/scope setup you got, congrats. New rifle, new scope to go along with your swaro 15's you picked up last fall.......next on the list is that 110" buck, go get em .

Back in September I quit my job at QT and started working as an electrician. I am now a first year apprentice inside wireman for IBEW Local 640. I am working on the Fab 32 project for Intel in Chandler. I have been doing it for about 6 months and love it so far . I just wish I had decided to do this sooner.

Heck, I consider myself a big time wannabe when it comes to hunting in general. I've harvested two coues bucks and one javelina in my lifetime. Unfortunatley I don't get out near as much as I like to. I get on here everyday though and love to hear everybody's stories and to see the pics. I've seen one lion in my life and that was at night driving home from deer hunting, ran right in front of the car. I learn a little more each time I go out and I learn a lot from you guys too. I definitely enjoy the heck out of being out there with my Dad and someday my kids and like you guys already said That's what it's all about.

Hope it works out good for you. From what Amanda wrote about her trip it sounds like you're in for a good one. Someday I'll get my turn down there.

I know that I've posted quite a few pics already but I had to post these last two. I went back out Sunday afternoon when some of the clouds had cleared up and got some more pictures. Here's a shot of Four Peaks Here's a view of the Superstitions
