Felons can now sell or give away their guns?
muledeerarea33? replied to murfys69law's topic in The Campfire
I like playing devils advocate (as you can see in other posts, poaching) lots of folks do nothing wrong or if they do wrong it's minimal or just the way the law is and it can't be changed since the law is broke. How do you change/repeal it? Good question???? So many nanny lawyers out there anymore and so many citizens charged with questionable crimes it's hard to change.change for one actually means change for all today. There is no more case by case basis. They try to cut and dry EVERYTHING!!! By what the current law says. More money that way. -

Domestic violence also gets your gun rights messed up. Crazy ex wife comes over, drunk girl friend, etc. chances are high you get a charge against you even if it's not you fault. Luckily my wife is cool and we never had that issues but I hang out with dudes who have been really messed up by Dating strippers and such. -

Mattys281, I understand what your sayin. Most that say they give their all still have a lot to give, and a lot that struggle, struggle because of their own demise. There is still a few good people that truly do what they can and it's not enough. Like stated previously, would you rather then get on the welfare dime or take a creature it two a year out of season? I know I know! Folks will say, "if they take one or two, what's to stop them from taking 20???" Or,"if they take 2 a year that means every one will and we'll have no game left!!" The man who takes game to feed his family isn't picky, isn't shooting trophy's, and isn't advertising. To compare him to a drug dealer is wrong. A drug dealer makes money by hurting others. You can say a man who feeds his family with game is hurting others chances of hunting but is he really compared to a drug dealer?

I'm guessing this is in a place Phoenix area folks go? -
Hypothetical...... A guy is down on his luck, works a full time job, makes a middle class income, is used to two incomes but his wife gets sick. They have dogs and cats and kids. The man works as much as he can in his current job but just can't pay for it all. Gas, medical bills growing, land payment, utilities, etc. one day the dogs run out of food, the garden is picked clean and the family has no edible meat (because the rabbits are in their worm season) the man takes his last few buck to the store to buy enough carbs, veggies, and oil to keep his family afloat for the next month til he's paid again. On his way home he stops and takes a deer. Not a trophy but likely the first deer he sees most likely without antlers. Skins every bit of meat and cartilage off of it that he can with an old buck knife and feeds his wife, kids, and dogs protein. Is that wrong? I'm sure some will come up with better ideas but a struggling person does what he knows.

Lost an Australian Shepard in pine top once. He went after a rabbit and never came back. He was 13, deaf and almost blind. After am ad in the paper, pound, and humane society we found him thru the paper ad. Someone took him to the humane society after picking him up and thinking he was a younger dog. The look on his face in the pokie was priceless!! He knew he did wrong. Haha!! Check the local agencies if you haven't already.

And the folks that apply for hunts that have over 50% of the unit being private access don't get one?? Talk about random selection.

You tell me, how timely is this rain?
muledeerarea33? replied to MT_Sourdough's topic in Elk Hunting
The next month or so of heat and lack of moisture can kill feed and dry up water sources in some areas. Supposed to be a wet year though as stated before. -

AZ usually gets a weather system middle to end of May. No surprise, this one came a week or so earlier than the past few years but still came none the less. -
I hunt public land behind private locked land regular, didn't get the letter? So they want to raise prices to allow general public access to public land that's locked up by private land? I would not want that. I enjoy my large plots of land shared by few. Most folks are afraid to ask or do some work to access it. I agree it shouldn't be closed but while it is there is still usually access to it with a little work.

Is there no azgfd inspection for having one in an enclosed habitat? My wife has wanted one for a long time. What type of habitat do they need and what needs to be done to own one?

It's what the world is coming to. Demand brings out inguniuty. Example.... When was the last time you paid cash and the cashier ACTUALLY counted your change back to you, with out the computer register??? You use your debit card for gas right? Take advantage of your ace rewards and grocery store fuel points? Order crap online? Bank online and use a computer/smart phone for this web site right???? I hate vehicle technology more than most all of you!! I have to fix one of the most technicology advanced car lines out there, the type of vehicle that GM, Ford, and Dodge copy years later just with a different system name! If you don't like that it backs itself up to a trailer then don't use it. I don't trust most of these new systems anyways even though I gotta fix them. And if you want manual everything then go to a wholesale lot. Most dealers have an off site lot that sells work/commercial trucks and they're as basic as it gets. No carbs though (why would you want one??) because of government regulations. Same reasons the diesels have egr. Emissions systems do work, if they're built correctly.

Just scotch lock or splice(splice is better) in to your tail light. Mount a bracket and a bulb socket holder for a trailer light. Done. If you can, figure the amperage of the extra bulb and bump your fuse up. If it's 10a put a 15a in, or whatever it is in your case. Loom the wire and make it look nice.
