I have killed several mulies but no to many coues. I agree they are harder to hunt but I think it is the terrain they live in more than the intellagence of the animal. but I could be wrong?

Its a bad thing to go through. our dog lucky died from seizures at age 14 but you have to think about all the good times you had to get you through the bad. Its really hard on other dogs in the family (if you have any) they feel the pain too.

hoping to find me a mulie in Nov as well good luck ernesto for you and your wife

I am not looking to shoot 1000 yards meters or whatever that is just to dang far. heck I cant even see through my scope at 500 yards much less 1000. I will stick to my max of 300 for now till I get my eyes fixed or pratice a little more but long distance shooting is not in my future any time soon

thanks everyone for responding. I dont think I am gonna run out and buy a 308 anytime soon my 38 year old 06 works just fine for now

I have only accidently called in doe while varmit calling. tried the rattles but must be doing something wrong?

I beleive he was talking target shooting. with my terrible eyesight I am only good for about 2-300 yards. glass bedded my 30-06 last week and dropped my groups from 5 inches to just 3 inches at 200 yards I am very happy with that

I was talking to a guy the other day at a gunstore here in town he was buying brass to reload 308 shells. he was saying it is accurate at roughly 1000 yards (dont know his exact setup) but wondering how possible that really is? thats about 3/4 of a mile if my math is right. whats the longest shot any of you guys have ever taken with accurcy?

I was out this weekend and had my flueger bag that I keep all my stuff in stolen out of the back of my truck along with a few mags for the 45 and a night vision monocular that I had left in it. I feel your pain but I guess I could have prevented mine from getting tooken by locking it up while I was out hiking

I have had doe coues and mulie come to a call. usually it is when i am blowing a fawn call but have had a few peek their heads up for a jack rabbit as well

when I was in high school not too many years ago (4) I would keep my guns in my rack on my back window. with the doors unlocked and no one ever said anything. but then I guess when your raised in an arizona town with a pop. of about 1000 they let stuff like that slide it must suck to be a kid raised in the city
