If there are no major injuries, let the insurance companies sort it out.

Tried that. Accident was almost 2 years ago. Just now getting asked for extra money by other drivers outside insurance agencies/ subrogation people.

Still on the county line, Hoss?

I'm with you on the bourbon, tho mines over the rocks and not shaved.

As far as "burn days" and fireplaces, our house was built in '62. I HAVE noticed that our bedrooms are colder if we start a fire in the evening. Something to do with outside combustion air not considered in the original house plan, so we pick our days to light it off and open the damper. Christmas we had a doozy and have not fired one since.

Yes sir,  still in the same place. The snow, if packed right will turn into cubes.

Hi all! Met a guy at Putney’s in Tucson and he convinced me to take the leap of faith. However, I have no experience nor equipment to go hunting for the first time. Is there a list someone could provide of what I need to acquire? I’m assuming a pretty hefty upfront cost. Something I have always wanted to get into, might as well start now!

Do you have a rifle and a vehicle? If so then your “started”! If your an archery guy then the same question applies except add bow and subtract rifle. Get a hunting license, draw/buy a tag and then go find deer. Honestly that’s all you need besides a knife. It can get real expensive for sure but I’ve seen guys kill big deer with the bare minimum.

  6. From what I know… which may not be accurate. Your hunting license gets you into most state trust properties. If the property is being used for a reason that hunting doesn’t jive…. Then it can be locked up. True or not, this is my experience.

The principals of Aspen Lodge (you) have taken a stance on an issue that is very important to outdoorsmen.  We will vote with our money and do our best to make fellow outdoorsmen aware of Aspen Lodge's stance concerning feral animals on public land.

    ^^^^ this

And bringing up a dead thread wasn’t smart on their side. I get it that google searches bring it up but had they not resurrected it, pry would of gone deep web soon

Far from FDA approved I'm sure but just finished up last years pigs that included about 70lbs of summer sausage, 30lbs of chorizo and 15lbs of jerky. All came out pretty darn good.

That’s what’s my moms back porch looks like every year. Her place is a bit more “FDA” than mine. Never had an Illness.

  9. I’m butchering my flock in a few days and was wondering if anyone has ever sold any? This is my first year raising them and so far I haven’t lost any. Grass/greens fed daily but also supplement feed them with an organic crumble. I’ve seen them go as high as 10-15 dollars a pound but I’m not sure what’s reasonable? If I tried to get what I have in them this first year it’d be like $200lb birds! Haha!! So is it worth selling off one or two or just freezer them and try next year?
