Nice buck. and congrats. I tool a drive up that way this weekend and man it was like a war zone with all the hunters up there. saw lots of deer hanging but none the size of that one

gas prices suck but the way I see it is we gotta pay for it if we wanna drive around just like we gotta pay taxes if we work and we gotta pay the light bill if we wanna see at night. I dont like it as much as the nexy guy but its just one of those things.
but what do I know?

ooops I meant to reply to bowhunterforlife about the handgun for protection

I heard from a friend that own a gun store in Flagstaff that they changed the law on carrying a handgun while archery hunting.? Can anyone verify this information, or tell me the law that strictly prohibits this. ThanksThat would be carrying a concealed weapon without a permit - not legal. What did change was the time required to get a CCW - from 16 hours to 8. I live in Douglas and I understand the need for a handgun - beleive me. But it isn't worth the trouble of getting busted. Of course it would be worse to get shot up by dopers and they are out here. Most stick to the bottoms because their loads weigh them down. Forgive me if my info is a little off but I'm pretty sure that is how it is. I read this in the Douglas Dispatch a while back and DD is known for mistakes. Careful out there homies !
Where did ya see that I am looking in the book and cant find it?

sometimes I am glad I am single. but i cant afford to buy them anyway!!!

I was out this weekend scouting and walked up onon a spring about 6 in the morning when out of the corner of my eye I saw something runnin. it scared the heck out of me and when I turned a dang ole badger ran about 2 feet in front of me then stopped and looked right at me I kicked some dirt and said get out of here and off he went. thats only the second badger i have ever seen and dont want to come up on one like that again I never thought to shoot him but I guess its not against the rules to do so. i just havent seen to many and dont wanna go killin em

if anyone has the nov 4 mulie hunt in 33 i will be campin for four nights probally down by san manuel. hopin to drop that 5 by 4 I have been watchin for a while now. so if anyone wants to stop by and have a beer let me know

well I have never hunted 30A but as far as hunting style goes what works for me especially in the lower parts of az is finding a place to just sit and watch the countryside. if you walk around trying to find a good place to glass your never gonna find it. you need to glass everyehere and anywhere even if you dont think deer will be there. and look at every rock and under every bush. sometimes you will just strike out and sometimes you will see lots of deer. thats all part of it. getting out there working your butt off and having fun doing it is what hunting is about. seeing deer is just the cherry on top. now I am no expert on hunting whatsoever I just do what works for me and try to stay consistant in doing it even when it gets tough. so I hoped I have helped a little and if not I got some pratice typing

see I have no prolbem hunting any deer. I wanted a 33 coues tag since I always see em up there just cant get close enough with my bow but stupid me I filled out the wrong hunt number and got a mulie tag but it should still be a good year
-
ok gotta break up the coues talkfor a minute. I cant wait for my Nov. fourth mulie hunt who else is with me?
-
OK not a political joke but I still thought it was funny
I wife is begging her husband to take her hunting so he finally caves. he teaches her how to shoot takes her scouting and gets her ready. the day of the hunt they go out and he starts walking one way and she walks the other. not 5 minutes go by and he hears a shot. he starts walking back torward her and he hears her yell ITS MINE!!! I SHOT IT ITS MINE!! then another voice NO LADY YOU CANT HAVE IT ITS NOT YOURS. hearing this he hurries over. the yelling goes back in forth then finally he hears DAMNIT LADY OK YOU CAN HAVE IT. JUST LET ME TAKE THE SADDLE OFF FIRST
