  3. My wife and I are moving to the snow and are trying to sell her 2009 Nissan Sentra to get a big girls truck -It is a road hunters dream... GREAT GAS MILEAGE (So you can afford more beer), EXTREMELY QUIET (So you dont scare critters), LOW CLEARANCE (So you don't have to leave the comfort of the smooth road), LARGE TRUNK (to stuff big deer), MOST IMPORTANTLY... will tow a good size tent!! But SERIOUSLY... It is an extremely clean vehicle with 60,000 miles on it, Interior looks brand new, outside is in great shape, clean title. Great car for a commuter, first time driver, etc.... If you are in the market or know someone who is, shoot me a p.m, i would be willing to come down a little on price for a CWT member. The craigslist posting can be seen here... Thanks! http://phoenix.craigslist.org/wvl/cto/3733702006.html

LOOKING to buy a truck (Toyota)

I am looking to buy a well taken care of used truck. More specifically I am looking for a 1993-2003 Toyota tacoma or Toyota pickup 4x4. Open to other makes if the truck fits my needs, but would prefer a Toyota. If you have anything available or know someone who does, please let me know. Serious cash buyer willing to drive for the right truck. Thanks!

    Firewood in the West Valley?

How much are you looking for and what type of wood? We have a decent amount of dry mesquite on our sideyard. I'm at work but can answer text 602-318-2187

LOOKING to buy a truck (Toyota)

Appreciate the replys guys... The truck was for my younger brother and we locked one up this morning. Good luck on selling your son's truck pine, I'm sure it will go fast at the right price with that low mileage. If I had the money I'd buy it... some time soon i want to start a project truck as my newer daily driver tacoma is taking a beating. Best trucks on the planet.

LOOKING to buy a truck (Toyota)

Vowell, I may be a little biased but I'd say its worth about $3,000... but the good news is I'll give you $6,000. LOL I have seen 00's with similar mileage go for anywhere between $5,500 and $8,000 varying with condition and upgrades. If you are serious about selling... let me know because I am serious about buying.

    Ravelli Tripods?

I ended up buying the tripod and using it on one hunt. The overall quality exceeded my expectations and the pistol grip was surprisingly smooth and fluid. The only downfall... It's a little too heavy for the hiking that I do. It is extremely sturdy though, and a great tripod for a heavy spotting scope or camera and still an amazing value for the cost. I think I'll sell it if anyone is interested

    Ravelli Tripods?

I found what seems to be a really good deal on a tripod/pistol grip combo. Its a ravelli 70" tripod with a vertical ball pivot pistol grip for $90 new. The suggested retail is supposedly $399. Anyone have any input on ravelli? The price looks almost too good to be true.

    Meat care help?

I have an early nov. MD tag and the weather is still a little warm. What is the maximum temperature one should hang a deer overnight to age without chance of meat spoilage? The overnight averages during my hunt are high 40's to mid 50's. Too warm or just cool enough?

    Meat care help?

I would agree with being able to hang it for multiple days, but have noticed in the past that even one night of hanging does wonders over processing it the day of the kill. My rifle hunts have usually taken place in higher elevation with colder weather and have not yet been successful with a bow so I have never given much thought to hanging in warm weather. I figured I'd get some advice on desert temps. I think I'll hang a night and spend a cool morning gettin busy. Thanks for the input!

A few good bucks and a lion

Two weeks until the desert hunt... pulled the cam today and had some good pictures. The bigger 5x4 buck has an odd split main beam. No good angles at the smaller buck but have seen him in person and he is super tall. No good at scoring?? Regardless, I would be happy with either of these guys. Sneaky night lion as well. Dates and time are obviously off.

A few good bucks and a lion

Thanks guys! Counting the hours until opening morning. Been watching these guys all summer and couldn't make it happen during archery. I'm hoping the current hunts wont find one of these in their x-hairs.

    Account got hit today

You sure about that? Was it the tag price or the $7.00 app fee. I dont think cards have ever hit the week after the application deadline. Credit cards got hit for the $7.50 as soon as one applied for the hunt(s). Exactly, which is why I thought maybe he was misinterpreting the $7.00 for a hit. If not the case... I wish mine would hit.

need help in 6A with youth hunt

Awesome! Was up there this weekend playing around and saw plenty of cows, but not too many successful hunters. Sadly 8 out of every 10 hunters we saw were buzzing their rhino's/quads around on closed roads. Congrats to the boy

    DIY drinker help

I have a cam on a water hole that I have watched go from full to completely dry in the last 4 days. With no other water in the area, it is going to be tough to pattern the deer. I am thinking about setting up a DIY drinker and hauling some water. Any suggestions on set-ups? Pics welcome

    DIY drinker help

I should rephrase... There is obviously water in the area, but it is near some heavier traveled roads. This tank is off the beaten path and in a prime location. No holes, its a stock tank not cement. Just looking for some ideas for a small drinker near by.

    Paracord projects

While bored in anticipation for august archery, I spend my nights lurking CWT, and "Man knitting" as my wife calls it aka making things with parachute cord. Does anyone else do the same? Pictures? Here are two little hunting accessories I have made, along with watchbands, knife wraps, and bracelets. Diy rifle strap cost about $4.00 to make Cheap alternative to a pack pouch, Pictured with flask but used as rangefinder pouch.

    Looking for a trail cam

I am looking for a trail cam or two to get me through this scouting season. I dont need anything special just something that snaps pictures. As far as price goes... I am looking for something in the "broke college kid price range." If anyone has anything to offer it would be greatly appreciated!
