Coatis are neat. I always wanted to get one mounted, but the only times I ever saw them, I was hunting deer and didn't want to screw it up it by shooting a coati. One time in 36B, my son and I came upon a troop of about 50-75 of them in one little arroyo.

SOLD - Vintage Nikon 8x30 IF Rubber-Coated Binocular
Outdoor Writer posted a topic in Classified Ads
SOLD Although these are 40 years old, these Nikon IF binocs have seen very little field time. I think I might have used them on two hunts before I switched to higher power glass. It comes with the original neck strap, lens cloth, spec folder and box. I'll throw in a bottle of lens cleaning fluid. There is a bit of minor surface discoloring where the strap attaches from the metal harness clips I had. I will consider reasonable offers but no trades. Payment via PayPal (buyer doesn't need an acct; just a CC or checking acct.) or cash only. Picked up near 67th Ave. and Camelback or shipped at buyer's expense. $125 Individual focusing system provides focusing by each eye separately. On the upper side of the both barrels lies focusing rings – diopters, with the numbers for setting a proper focus by moving lenses individually. Majority of binoculars uses the central rotating knob, so this arrangement is not that frequent and most commonly found on Porro prism binoculars. Individually focusing system has many different commercial names like sport auto focus, permanent focus or simply auto focus. The main characteristic of this system is that you can set them only once and afterwards the eyes focus to different distances by themselves. This can be a significant advantage in low-light situations when there is not enough light for precise focusing with central knob. Binoculars of this type are also incredibly watertight and thus very likely to appear on majority of marine binoculars. Objective diameter: 30 mm Magnification: 8 x Exit pupil: 3.75 mm Eye relief (acc. to spec): 13 mm IPD: 55 – 75 mm RFOV: 7.5 degrees = 131 m AFOV: 60 degrees Focus type: IF Prism system: Schmidt-Pechan Waterproof: yes Weight (measured, with eyepiece cover and strap): 670 g Made in: Japan Features of binoculars with individual focusing (+) focusing by each eye separately (+) suitable for marine applications (+) suitable when focusing in low-light conditions (+) incredibly watertight (-) bigger close focusing distance -

SOLD This pistol belonged to my grandfather. I believe it's chambered for a .32 S&W Short CF. It is tight and it does shoot because I shot it about 50 years ago. I think the grips had been changed many, many years ago from a slightly different model since there are tiny gaps at the very top. It has a serial # on the butt. I will consider reasonable offers but no trades. Payment via PayPal (buyer doesn't need an acct; just a CC or checking acct.) or cash only. Must be picked up near 67th Ave. and Camelback. $100 A bit of history

Indeed. I found a similar fate when I was looking for .300 WM loads, and that was many years ago.

Federal makes more than 25 different subspecies of its 7mm mag loads, some with similar looking but different bullets.

When I first came across the photo of this thing, I figured it was some taxidermist's creation. But then I did a bit of reseach and found out it's a for real!

AGFD - Final reminder: update credit card for 2021 spring hunts
Outdoor Writer posted a topic in News from Arizona Game and Fish Dept.
GAME AND FISH NEWS Oct. 27, 2020 Final reminder: Thursday is last day to update credit card information for 2021 spring hunts Applicants also can purchase PointGuard to protect bonus points PHOENIX — Time is running out for hunters who applied for 2021 spring hunt permit-tags to update their credit card or debit card account information, as well as purchase PointGuard to protect their bonus points. The deadline is 11:59 p.m. (Arizona time) Thursday, Oct. 29. The Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) encourages applicants to keep their credit card and debit card account information current. If payment is declined at the time of the draw, the application will not be drawn. The department no longer calls applicants to obtain payment on drawn applications where credit cards or debit cards have failed. Applicants who have been issued a new credit card or debit card, a new expiration date, or had a change to their card’s number should visit https://draw.azgfd.com/Payment/Update. The last name and order number on the applicant’s draw receipt (sent by email after submission of the application) are required to update the credit card or debit card on file. For applicants who can’t locate their draw receipt, or might have deleted it from their email account, AZGFD is available to update card information by calling (602) 942-3000, option “5,” from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Note: It is important to update payment information for each species for which an application has been submitted. Also, if a credit card or debit card has been used for multiple applications, the applicant is responsible for notifying the appropriate banking institution that multiple charges could be processed simultaneously from AZGFD. Meanwhile, applicants can purchase PointGuard as part of their application through 11:59 p.m. (Arizona time) Thursday, Oct. 29. A free AZGFD portal account is no longer required to purchase PointGuard. A portal account is still needed for those hunters wishing to view their draw results, however. Visit accounts.azgfd.com/Account/Register and complete the required fields. PointGuard is a great way to protect bonus points for when “life happens.” PointGuard is $5 per species, per applicant, and ensures if a successful applicant is unable to participate in a hunt for any reason, the accumulated bonus points that were expended to draw that hunt permit-tag will be reinstated. Visit www.azgfd.com/hunting/pointguard/, or call (602) 942-3000, for more information. AZGFD will post an announcement on its website and social media channels when draw results are available. -

I owned one like below for many years. It was a good shooter, even with the cheapie Weaver scope I had on it. Sold it and several other firearms to finance my trip to Africa. I also had the Single-Six combo, which killed my first bobcat at the now-gone Big Saddle Camp on the N. Kaibab in the '60s.. http://www.millerrodandgun.com/DetailPages/Winchester-255-22mag_133772.htm Other options: https://www.henryusa.com/henry-rifles-and-shotguns/ https://ctfirearmsauction.com/auction_item/winchester-9422m-22-magnum-lever/
