Okay, hang loose a bit until this virus thing settles a bit more. Right now, due to my age and condition, my status is dead man walking if I come in contact with a C19 carrier. When is your possible snow hunt?
-
What's your waist size and height? Oh, and I don't do texts.
-
I'm 5'8", 135 or so and have a sz9 foot. So I've got oodles of stuff in your sizes, including boots/pacs and lots of coats, coveralls, etc. But I have no use for fireworks. Cash is always nice, tho, as long it's more than Goodwill levels. π Give me more specifics on exactly what you want.

Mostly likely will not move much from now until then.

It all depends on when and where. For example, the entire deer herd on the N. Kaibab moves many miles when they migrate out of the high country. If you find a Kaibab buck in the aspens in Aug./Sept., he'll unlikely be there during the late season. In contrast, a desert mule deer will have a much smaller territory that might expand a bit during the rut.

Yup, pre 'artificial only' days. Do you recall the year when that came about??
-
Those were the "good ol' days". π‘ Kastmaster were the big lures for the big trout..

The video should actually show in both in stances. Not sure what your problem is. π€·ββοΈ

Be sure to watch until the end.....

You get to pick just like a normal app. And if your picks are gone, you don't get a permit even if there are other ones left.

One year, a busload of Chinese "city folk" nearly got me trampled by a bull moose. I wasn't a happy person.

Of course it's an obvious fake. That said, I spent a lot of time taking photos in YNP over the years, and you would be shocked at some of the boneheaded stuff the tourists do with the wildlife.

Not sure if it's still the case, but they once used DOC dudes to open envelopes for the leftovers.

THIS^^^^^^^^^^^ It is not a computer draw like the first go-round.

I've never fished Carnero. In fact, I don't even no where it is located. π‘Mostly rainbows? The trip with Joe was in May, sometime in the late 1980s or early 1990s. We tried Sunrise but managed only a few small trout. We also hit Big Lake, but the wind was too much for our tubes. Another spot we tried was Lee Valley, where we caught lots of small graylings, and we did good at Reservation Lake.

Here's my buddy Joe Reynolds with another of the football rainbows at Mexican Hay. Apache

Every fish we caught in Mexican Hay was that big. It was real weedy and the fish fought like tarpon, often coming clear out of the water. Oh, as you can see, it was raining. We caught a slew of big Apaches, too. Here's a couple more from Xmas Tree.:

Been a long time since I went after trout in AZ. I can't remember if it was Lee's Ferry or when I tubed the Greer lakes when I went to visit a friend there. The last time I fished anywhere in eastern AZ was on the trip where I mentioned fishing Wink's place. My buddy and I spent a week in the WMs, fishing both the reservation and state fisheries. Other than catching some very nice Apache trout and browns at Xmas Tree, the best fishing was Mexican Hay Lake. That year, it had water and some really hard-fighting 'bows in it. We slaughtered them (C&R) with wooly boogers. See below: MEXICAN HAY RAINBOW XMAS TREE APACHE TROUT XMAS TREE BROWN TROUT

Unless it had changed, most stocked put-&-take rainbows were 8" to 9".

Yup. Effects can be pretty devastating on all body systems. When I had it, the only lab doing accurate testing was in NJ. Results took about a week to get back. So my doc put me on doxycycline immediately and did another test a few weeks later that came back negative.

Amen. I contracted Lyme disease after a bout with a tick on a Missouri turkey hunt in the 1980s with Ray Eye. Luckily I recognized the red circle and got treated with antibiotics even before my positive lab results came back.
