Restrictions on hunting over water and trail camera use.
Outdoor Writer replied to azhunter23's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
As written, it appears this would eliminate waterfowl hunting within 100 yds. of nearly every lake in the state since they are all "man-made." And if you own a house or cabin within a 100 yds. of a lake or other man-made watering "facility," you won't be able to field dress your doves, quail, etc. at home. https://www.azleg.gov/legtext/54leg/2R/bills/HB2131P.htm Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Title 17, chapter 3, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 17-308.01, to read: 17-308.01. Unlawful activities near water holes, stockponds and other man‑made watering facilities; notice; civil penalty A. A person may not do any of the following within one hundred yards of a natural water hole containing water or a stockpond or other man‑made watering facility containing water: 1. Set up a blind, lie in wait or otherwise conceal oneself for the purpose of taking wildlife. 2. Field dress taken wildlife. B. A landowner or lessee of private land may post a notice or sign to notify persons of the activities prohibited by this section. C. The commission may impose a civil penalty of not more than $250 against any person who violates subsection A of this section. -

Just speculating here, but given the two bills he put forth would affect activity around water holes/stock tanks, it's possible a few ranchers got Thorpe's ear. 🤷♂️ -
Mucho better, Amanda. Thanks. Suggestion to anyone still having issues: clear your browser cache and history.
-
Site was down completely early this morning, and I made Amanda aware of it on FB. She contacted the tech team to get it fixed. Now, everything including the profile stuff seems to be working properly. If anyone still finds a goof up, please post it to this thread.
-
I'm guessing that when Stanley fixed the other problem with the pages not loading at all (500 ERROR), somehow the database with all the profiles became missing in action and has to be reloaded or turned on somehow.
-
Yup. That's what I'm getting as well.
-
Okay, good. Right now, anything to do with profiles appears broke. That's what I discussed with Amanda early this morning on Facebook. So she knows about it, but she's really busy today with a volunteer affair and will likely not get to checking until later tonight.
-
Obviously, you can post. So is the profile deal the ONLY issue right now?
-
Can you access anyone's and your own profile?
-
On what click?
-
Amanda is aware of any ongoing issues, especially with profiles. Log in and message posting should be OK now, though. Are you still having issues with that?
-
I saw a pigeon in the front yard a bit ago if that helps.

Hit a nerve, eh? I checked and found that a kumquat is a fruit, so that seems to fit, too. Probably a drag queen who was home schooled by your pet goldfish.

The "a" is correct because it's a hard (consonant) "f" in "f'n" Only words that begin with a vowel sound use "an," such as "an only child." Also, it's not a conjunction; it's known as AN indefinite article or determiner. The conjunction is "and" as in Jack and Jill went...

I wouldn't go quite that far. Besides, I'd be afraid to get too close for fear of catching an STD.

It's "You're" not "Your." About 60 years ago, a female English lit professor told our class that anyone who can't articulate his or her thoughts in conversation or writing without using some form of the F-word likely has the social skills and intelligence of a kumquat. At the time, I laughed along with the rest of the class even though I had no idea what a kumquat was, much less if it could talk or write. Still, I never followed up on it to find out. So now...after reading your messages on here for a few months, I'm wondering; if I look up "kumquat' in the dictionary, will your photo be there along with the definition?

AGFD --Super Raffle offering "early bird" prizes
Outdoor Writer posted a topic in News from Arizona Game and Fish Dept.
GAME AND FISH NEWS Jan. 10, 2020 Arizona Big Game Super Raffle offering "early bird" prizes Enter today to win one of eight Canyon Coolers PHOENIX — The deadline to enter the 15th annual Arizona Big Game Super Raffle is still months away, but Jan. 31 is the last day to be eligible to win the “early bird” prize for January — one of eight Canyon Coolers. For each online order for raffle tickets placed through Jan. 31, a hopeful hunter will receive one chance to win a cooler through an incentive drawing conducted by the nonprofit entity, which raises money for wildlife conservation efforts. The more online orders placed, the greater the chances of winning a cooler. The incentive drawing will be on or before Feb. 5. The Arizona Game and Fish Commission annually awards the organization a total of 10 Special Big Game Tags, one for each of the state’s big game species — bighorn sheep, elk, mule deer, white-tailed deer, pronghorn, bison, turkey, bear, javelina and mountain lion. Raffle tickets are available for $5 to $25 each, depending on species, and can be ordered online at arizonabiggamesuperraffle.com/buy-tickets/. There is no limit on how many raffle tickets can be ordered. The deadline is 10 p.m. Sunday, July 12. The names of the winners will be drawn at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, at Arizona Game and Fish Department headquarters (Quail Room), 5000 W. Carefree Highway, Phoenix. In the 14-year history of the raffle, more than $7 million has been raised for wildlife and wildlife management in Arizona. Last year’s event generated $669,065. Every dollar raised for each species through the raffle is returned to the department and managed by the Arizona Habitat Partnership Committee (AHPC) for that particular species. With input from local habitat partners across the state and sponsoring organizations involved in the fundraising, project priorities are determined that will provide the most benefit to each species. I used it intentionally so the other dumbass would have something meaty to comment about. 😎

Shortly after, but when I posted that early on it was from the initial reports that said crashed on takeoff. And yes, they are speculating that it might have collided with an "unintentional" missile.

As usual, your reading comprehension deficit has kicked in. Below is the pertinent exchange in order for the quote you used. Someone with a minimal sense of logic would deduct it has absolutely nothing to do with a conspiracy theory or how much watermelon sells for in Bangladesh. In fact, your almost sane reply to the last quote was that you were off hunting.
-
I would quickly apologize if I had been wrong about something I personally stated. But nothing I said fits that description. Here are all my pertinent posts. Maybe you missed a few. Feel free to post anything I said that was "wrong." As for the name calling, once a dumb A$$HAT, always a dumb A$$hat because you earned it. And now, I guarantee this one below isn't wrong.
