  1. We ran into the same issue trying to buy my wife a new bow for her elk hunt this year. None of the stores would let her shoot before she bought it. We had to go to Henderson to pick up a car so I looked up a few archery shops there. Thankfully they let her shoot several bows all set up exactly the same. Turns out she hated the bow she thought she wanted. After shooting several bows she settled on this one. Its so much nicer than her 15 year old Diamond she has been shooting. Its easy to adjust and left some of the budget for a better sight and rest. There was only 1 other bow she thought was close and after shooting them side by side she decided it wasn't  worth another thousand dollars for the higher end bow. I would try to shoot a few before you buy one.

What has surprised me the most through this entire process is the lack of empathy and support for fellow hunters, specificly ones that are trying to have as normal of a life as possible while dealing with medical issues.

Is it jealousy? Fear? Pure protectionism? Ignorance?

It must be driven by scarcity and FOMO.

I started writing my story but decided it doesn't matter, people's opinions are set.

I wish you all years of health but if you do have an unfortunate change of medical situation, I hope you are able to continue participating in something you love even if it has to be modified to an extent.

I think what it all comes down to is most guys understand life isn't fair. Not everyone can do the same things and that's just the way it is. It sucks having health issues that keep you from doing things you enjoy but that is life.

  3. I just put one on a savage 110 for my nephew. I wasn't impressed at all with the overall quality. I put the lss on my son's rifle and was much happier.  Both were a big improvement over factory. Hope you find what you want!

  4. Listing for a buddy. I've seen this rifle shoot and its a good one. Its set up for factory 162eld-x ammo. His daughter has used it on a few hunts and is very accurate with it. He lives in Yuma but comes to Williams at least 2 or 3 times a month so he can meet anywhere in between.  Txt Bryon with any questions. Asking $2000 for the scope and rifle.

Wow! Thanks! Never heard of Chairgun. I'll try it. I'm aware of the sanctions against Strelok. I really like the app and how attentive Ivan is to updating and answering questions. Not comfortable putting the Chinese app store on my phone. Hopefully Chairgun isn't too pricey. Do you know if it supports Weatherflow wind meters?

I just bought it for $9.99 a year. So far I really like it.
