My favorite is 270wsm for whatever I'm shooting at, except for a bull elk.

We killed 2 elk with it last year. They didn't take a step. My brother in law killed his sheep at 400yds and he tipped over and never moved. I agree not my go to elk round but its pretty good.

They need to start making kayaks, and paddle boards be registered, like boats and canoes. Just me

More government regulation so they make more money and it won't change anything?

One of the issues that hasn't been discussed in the last few, is 30 dudes on a mountain have a negative impact on other people's hunts, and I dont think that's OK. A spotter sitting on a hill that another hunter with a tag wants to hunt is BS. Now another 29 dudes taking away "spots" from dudes with tags is major BS.

That's a good point! On the late elk hunts I have run into guys several times just sitting at a glassing spot drinking coffee in case the hunter wants to go there.

I would be very surprised if any trout were caught, it hasn't been stocked with trout in years. AZGFD is managing it as a warm water fishery now.

I forgot about that. Funny thing is last time I took my boy there he was catching bluegill on a worm and bobber. After a few he caught a fish he caught a trout. But yeah it isn't stocked. We hardly every fish it because of how popular it is.

Headed to Whitehorse next week with a 21’ trailer and two grandsons. I haven’t been there in years.
Anyone offer information about the road condition and is there a location in Williams to buy mealworms?

    thx

Bucks on Grand Canyon Blvd should have meal worms. Green Power Bait for trout is good right now. Roads are pretty good right now. I would take the 141rd in from the north its shorter than White Horse Lake Rd. Crawfishing is great now too. If the fishing is slow try Dogtown for trout. Its been really good .

I agree with you the majority of the time, but two seasons ago in sheep camp, our hunter brought some Kansas corn-fed venison, and it was the best I've had.  It was just unbelievable.

When I use to hunt in MO every year we would cut up our own deer at my uncles farm. One deer we took to the butcher and I was shocked at the number of un gutted deer in the back of trucks. Lots of un gutted deer at the local coffee shops in the beds of trucks. I think that has a lot to do with it because most of those guys batch cut. I prefer coues, but the corn fed deer were good too.

Went out for an hour to test these guys out. I found 1 young ram 1 ewe across the lake from the first bridge. Almost a mile away. There is a pull off just east of the first bridge I will park off.

These are the best photos I could get to show where they were. I had to free hand it. I have just ordered my phone skope for them though. Extremely impressed with the SLC's. I can't imagine how clear the new models and HD's are.

I honestly can't tell the difference side by side with the HD's
