Second pic looks like a Mexican or black duck pair. Notice the yellow bill on the drake and the orange bill with black speckling on the hen. Pretty cool if that's what they are!

A few big ones have gotten away from me. One came on a stormy day. Every cast was producing a fish on topwater, all 2lb clones. Then, a huge swirl wrapped around the zara spook and a long fight ensued. When the fish was close to being finished, it made one last surge and straightened the treble hook. All I ever saw of the fish in the dark water was his massive tail as it turned at the boat for one more run. I have never seen a tail fin that big! At the time I was totally bummed, but years later I realized that knowing the big one was still out there is what has kept me going back.

Same here. We used to have a lot of great outdoor stores in phoenix. Online businesses, BPS, Cabelas, and Sportsmans (which I think is the lesser of the evils) pushed out some great local stores. The good new is that there ARE STILL SOME LEFT. Please support the small guys, they are happy to price match; just give them a chance to do it. Even if they don't have the one you want in stock, they can probably order it. Certainly there are exceptions, but AZHUNTER hit the nail on the head.

Id love to hear some more story! It looks like thick country, I am wondering what your strategy was. Beautiful deer.

I have to complain to someone, and since I cant get ahold of anyone at USPS, CW it is lol. I sold something on ebay and shipped it to the customer. I get a message from the customer asking why I rerouted the package to a different location and he is already threatening to file an ebay fraud claim against me. I message him back to chill out while I figure out what happened. Delivery confirmation number says it was re-routed to a different address in a different state. I call USPS and spend 15 mins trying to get though the automated voice system. I then spend 1 HOUR on hold trying to get to someone. I finally give up, and I am driving to the local USPS joint to raise heck. If you hear about me on the evening news.....

Still trying to get it figured out. But I think were on the right track now. I wasted a lot of time trying resolve this. I talked to some people who had no idea what they were doing. That being said, I also found that there are plenty of people working for USPS (CW members too) who were more than helpful. Thanks guys. I came on here to gripe and complain about the USPS, and people were still happy to help me.

Crazy buck, that is very thoughtful of you. I shipped it from the Flagstaff main office 2400 Postal Blvd. I have now talked to two different supervisors at two different Flag locations who have told me two completely different things, neither of any help.

Just got back from driving to the post office... They told me they cant help me and to try calling the last post office that the package went through in GA, but they are closed for the day. (supposed to go to FL).

Spot light with charger, clamp on navigation lights, turkey call (cracked slate, but still sounds the same), sling shot that needs new band. A few dollar$, or free for a kid. Pick up in Flagstaff. Shoot me a pm, thanks.

And don't do what I saw yesterday; Someone took the breasts out of their birds and left the rest laying in the middle of the parking lot along with feathers everywhere. WTF? The other hunters using this area, the non hunters, and most importantly the ducks deserve more respect than this.

MMMM looks good. You cant just post up a pic like that and not give the recipe. That would be like posting up a photo of a trophy deer or elk and not telling everyone the exact location.

This bear looks pretty big to me. Any guess on its weight? I catch him on my cam all the time.

They were feeding them food scraps from local restaurants when we drove through. One bear was eating a sandwich. The only thing they did not appear to like was orange slices.
