I think I want to build a 338-06... Looking for a long action 700. I only need the action, but will purchase an entire rifle if needed. Needs to have a standard bolt face (.473") (30-06 sprg, 270 win, etc.) I do have a SA 700 action (RR prefix S/N) that I'd trade if interested. I would consider LA ruger 77s, Win 70s as well. Let me know what you have.

Just picked this up, but I found that I prefer my 30mm tubed LRHS scope to this one. Bushnell Elite Tactical HDMR 3.5-21X50 (ET35215) with H59 reticle. I have a large quantity of .257 120 Gr Nosler Partitions that I purchased a while back when I still had a quarter bore rifle. These were purchased as seconds from Midway. They are all shiny, and the tips look good. They do have cannelures. I have 484 of them. .70 each plus shipping if needed. Buy them all for $300

You will need to change the firing pin out. Midway carries them for $6. I just did the same. Replaced a bolt head and realized I needed the firing pin after trying to assemble with the old pin.

I'm down to one .270 and have plenty of loaded ammo for it. Time to clear these off the bench. I only fired ammo out of one of the 25 round mags once. Not much of a sample admittedly, but it functioned fine.
