    Rancher Showdown

Watch this video.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WL-Z8ccNf5s So Harry Reid is obviously not happy about loosing at the moment... He seems to be worried about people breaking the law and that it is not acceptable to do that. Now at what point is it breaking the law to cross the border illegally and get rights here once you do (Reid is a supporter of illegal immigration). I guess illegal immigration among others things likely line his pockets well...

    Our Back Yard Showdown

So it sounds like the Bundy's are not the only ones right at this moment being pushed out... this needs as much attention as the Bundy ranch is getting!

    Rancher Showdown

ok new video from today... the cows went home yesterday. Whats with the extra equipment? the video doesn't explain much but it doesn't seem they have given up... (edit... this first video was uploaded on Sunday evening with no explanations... later i saw that an a small explanation was added stating that the video clip was actually from Saturday... still very interesting to see the power that shows no boundaries.) just found this one too and it has some interesting info as well.. http://youtube.com/watch?v=rNB3yv_Ji8Y

    Rancher Showdown

In one of the videos I saw someone in the background putting trash in a trash can... now if i had to guess i bet this place will be pretty clean once everyone goes home. Now if I remember right too the photos and video after say Occupy Wal Street show a much different ending to their protests. The lefties left it all behind! Who really has who's best interest mind. There is a difference between respect and entitlement.

Willie.. I guess my sarcasm was not conveyed well .. but you are totally right! They did not back down for safety concerns it us all about politics and trying to continue to pull the wool over the public eye.

    Rancher Showdown

They have "only" backed down for concerns of "safety" for the employees and supporters. It is not over... it is stated already as them wanting to fine Cliven Bundy for the expense of this ordeal at over another million dollars. This needs to stay current and not get swept under the rug and kept quiet by media! There is a lot of documentation regarding Harry Reid (D) as stating that Cliven Bundy needs to go as he is the last one standing in the way of the Chinese Solar deal... its nothing about tortoises! This is a strong arm deal for sure! The "VO" needs to be a new symbol of freedom for those that are against the government getting too powerful! (The "VO" is a cattle brand used by the Bundy ranch)

    Rancher Showdown

Where is PETA as they are herding cattle with helicopters? Where is PETA when they are pulling up the watering troughs that feed not only cattle but also the other wildlife? I will agree that some ranchers do go to the extreme to in thinking they "own" the land they lease to graze, but show me a rancher that doesn't care about the land. Show me a rancher that will over graze and ruin the land he uses to the point that it can not sustain his livelihood. (other states apart from AZ offer land owner tags for game and some get top dollar for those tags, now tell me they don't care about their environment!) How many people have tree stands for deer and elk on water tanks that were constructed by a rancher? How is it that 20 years ago there were more cattle being run by at least 10 times what is currently being run by Cliven Bundy and 20 years ago there were more tortoises? Listen to some of the other ranchers that were run out 20 years ago... sure Cliven didn't go about things perhaps the right way... but this is more than nonpayment and tortoises. The government has now spent more on this fight than what Cliven even owes. The only precedent that needs to be set at this point is that the government is not all powerful; before they get any bigger for their britches! I hope enough people will remember these pieces of history and who stood up, coward or turned their back like nothing was happening and start by voting the crap out of office and finding the good ones to put in!

    Douglas SS 30 cal barrel

This would be a great barrel for anyone wanting to build a lighter weight rifle. This barrel with shipping would normally be right at $300 out the door! I've got a Douglas barrel that I shot my elk with last year.. made a clean 1300 yard shot with it too!

Fun long range bull hunt (Video)

Thanks for warming them up cbryant! and yes the day before the practice shots helped... they were 1540 yards which helped verify once again that things were still working and that I was capable of making those long shots out in the field. Not that I was looking for a long shot... but just to be confident in whatever may present itself terrain and distance wise.

Fun long range bull hunt (Video)

Ducks, elk, deer, mice... you name it and we will whack'em! Let the Dynasty live on! of course Kooter... look at the credits again.. your name is first! and yes with the right tools and practice much can be accomplished... had I not taken similar shots in practice more than once, there is no way I would have been comfortable with a shot like that!

Anybody using a levergun for Coues?

Ya a few years ago I wanted to get it done the old way and I used my Sharps replica in 45-70 shooting the 300 grain Hornady hollow points and got it done at 162 yards... I rolled it when I hit it and the story was over. My older brother gave me crap for wanting to use that rifle and so with that I made double sure to get a deer that year. It wasn't a huge coues, but it was a fun way to hunt. I'm pretty proud of my small deer. I may end up using a 300 grain bullet again this year... but in the .338 Edge I built earlier this year. We keep talking about doing a cowboy hunt for pigs some year but we haven't done that yet... all levers or single action revolvers. I carried my 45-70 on a elk hunt one year too.
