Hunting is full of disappointments and lessons learned the hard way. If it was easy everyone would be doing it. Every person here has had some sort of bad luck, forgot a release, had a loose scope, flat tire, bad weather, etc, etc, etc. Although you had a small string of bad luck, I can guarantee each time you have learned something from it. Those things you have learned, you will never forget and they make you better. You have plenty of good hunts in front of you, I would give a fortune to go back and start hunting at your age. Keep your head up and hunt hard.

Thanks everyone! That two point does look old, looking forward to see what he scores, my brother was stoked to get that as his first coues! The neck on both these deer were huge!

My brother and I just dropped of two Coues deer at Browning's. First time using them, looking forward to getting our meat back!

Patience behind the glass pays off big time, if your seeing does there are bucks nearby. This saturday when I shot mine I looked through glass all day, started seeing some does early afternoon and then saw my buck. Same thing the next day for my brothers buck. Lots of hours and patience! Good Luck!
