I am looking to buy a stock for a Remington 700 Long Action. I am looking for a new or used H-S Precision Sendero takeoff, H-S Precision 5R Milspec takeoff, McMIllan, or similar style stock. Please no wood or plastic factory Remington stocks. You can message me here but text would be the fastest. Thanks. Matt 480-518-0702

gaps replied to gaps's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
Thanks guys. @coues clips it may have been from a shot or from a fight, either way it was a pretty fresh break. We were pretty excited when we got him and didn't even look to see if the broken piece was nearby... -
Hopefully you and your boy will be going soon!

Congrats and nice video! What were you using to shoot the video? What kind of camera and optics? -
Was up there in 2008 for a bear hunt and heard the same thing. I can see how it wouldn't be so good while hunting deer...good luck next time.

Congrats!

@trphyhntr ....The guy who did the skull work already took the head off and started working on him. We then realized that the meat processor needed to see the tag/head so thats why the face is skinned already... -

Just want to thank all of those who responded to this post and to Amanda and those involved with the making of this website and community. I have learned quite a bit from everyone and I am thankful for it. I finally finished putting the video together, hope you guys enjoy! I would go with the vortex. I have owned the viper hs, viper pst, razor hd, and kaibab binos and have been satisfied with all of them. From a features standpoint, I have always liked the viper hs lr. You may want to also look at their new scope, the viper hs-t. Good luck and let us know what you decide to get!

Good to hear that there are some big bucks in there! It sounds like there just aren't that many of them...I sure hope that I can go scouting quite a bit, I have a feeling that this will not be an easy hunt.
-
You going to tag along with us on our hunt or what?! But only if you buy and bring the jumping jack!

I wish! Actually my best friend and I just drew the muley hunt for unit 23 nov 1-7th and I was looking to see how other hunters have done. My brother in law had the same hunt last year and we hunted down low near cherry creek, black Mesa, ect. and didn't have any luck with the muleys. We did turn up some whitetails though, even some whitetail sheds. But nothing for mulies. We never got a chance to hunt up north in the unit but I'm guessing that is where we will start this year. I've hunted bear up around colcord and saw some elk but no mulies. I'm hoping that we can get at least a couple scouting trips in before the hunt....

ZBAR did you have any luck with your hunt? Would love to hear/see about how it went!
