    San Diego half day trip

You can rent tackle at the respective landing. There is threads on bloodydecks about kid friendly etc...give a search ... https://www.bdoutdoors.com/forums/forum/fishing-chit-chat/ A trip to the islands for calico bass, yellowtail and even some bft/yft. Look up the landings, each had own pricing etc. Fishermans, pointloma, h&m are all together and parking sucks and is like 12 bucks per day. Seaforth landing near sea world is free and big lot. Cost is 70 to 150 per pers.

    AR Lowers…. Stock up!

I always build any lower into a pistol first. That way you can top it with a rifle top, and back to a pistol. Letter of law if you build rifle first, it is always a rifle. If planning on doing a SBR, pistol first, test fire/fit. Make sure it works. Then do SBR paper work.

Reminder, you fit the foot beds to your arch, not size of foot.

    Albies in the house

Aztec and Mustang are owned by brothers and fish great. It would be great to see more come over the rail. I have a trip on Sept 8th, maybe time to for one in August.

Cool, glad you got out and had fun. Calico fishing is awesome, one of the more relaxing fish to fish. Yellowtail and calico at islands are a blast.

  12. I have 1 condo to remodel about 650 sqft 1 bdr / 1 bath. Need full remodel. Anyone that can give estimates/work/suggestions? Would like to get / use 2nds where possible. We would like to stick with 2nds on everything where possible. I believe the washer/dryer are stackable and fairly new, but if new 2nds can be found, we would like to replace them too. Would like to get an estimate: Counters kitchen/batch don't need to match current outline, use what ever top is found. Repair walls from old / previous repairs to smooth out surfaces Paint - whiter color (full unit) Cabinets - lighter ash/tan/brown color Counters - speckled / match the color scheme to cabinets flooring Flooring - engineered wood plank style - tan/brown family color (full unit), higher base boards Add LED ceiling surface lights (full unit) Move light under AC intake and fix/paint intake grate Replace ceiling fans (bed/living room) Replace window coverings with blinds (white), bed, kitchen and living room Replace outlet plugs and covers to white Bathroom - counter/cabinet doesnt need to match rest of unit, if it can and good deal, then yes. New water fixtures Toilet Tub/shower - can we get estimate on redoing with simpler tile or even a laminate slip over cover like Rebath? Also, maybe an enclosed shower to eliminate water spills onto flooring. New shower fixtures Vents - replace white Faucet replaces kitchen/bath Sinks replace kitchen/bath with new fixtures Microwave above stove with, remove hood Medicine cabinet replace New bath mirror Stove, dishwasher, microwave and fridge white or cheapest 2nds all color match please interior doors - pattern door white/new frames Closet/washer door - not sure if a door will work or if new accordion slider/folder Storage unit door - aluminum door and new frame

    40/50# rod suggestions

Rainshadow is good stuff. If you are planning on future rods down the road, I suggest getting them wrapped sooner than later, especially if you have custom designs/colors. Guys that wrap rods arent always in the business for ever. Know a fewnl old school wrappers in So Cal, they are always busy doing repeat business, only do nee business for family or friends. Fished with one last week and my BIL ordered rods with him and theyll be done 1st part of next year. Guy has been doing this for 30 plus years. Have fun. Wrapped rods are addicting.

    What's for dinner tonight?

Costco for crab, get salmon, scallops, halibut, burgers, steaks, chicken etc through my cousins restaurant. Otherwise, heading out to SD for some bluefin, yellowfin and YT mid week. On another 6 pack with my BIL and cousins. Really trying to eat smaller portions and more fish. If I cant get an order in with my cousin, I order from https://meats2u.com/, they ship to your door frozen. I havent been disappointed with the their stuff.

    Baofeng radios

GMRS licensing is rather cheap, its by family unit. I can go from QC to Crown King Towers 575 repeater on a handheld without issue. about 70 miles or so. Amature radio has a ton of opportunities and has good repeater coverage all over. I have both licenses and run both in my truck and as well as handhelds too.

  24. It is time for new shoes for my Explorer Sport, and was looking / thinking about run flat tires. Does anyone use them on SUV/Crossover style vehicles? I have always run the PIRELLI SCORPION VERDE tires, and trying to see if there is anything better/3 peak snow then found the run flats. Tires I am looking at TOYO OPEN COUNTRY A/T III, FALKEN WILDPEAK A/T TRAIL, NITTO NOMAD GRAPPLER and COOPER DISCOVERER AT3 4S
  25. The more I have read/reserached, the FW are really solid tires across the board. Will slate these for the Explorer and when the F150 needs new tires.
