Sammys are what leftovers are for, picked up some rolls, provolone and swiss cheese and some horseradish.

Dinner tonight, tri tip, Mexican grilling onions, mashed potatoes and au jus, with sweet corn.

Chicken and dumpling soup, scratch made. Nothing like hot soup on a hot day.

Dinner was on the light side tonight: Made scallops over wilted white wine garlic butter spinach, asparagus with black pepper and salt, with yams topped with toasted shaved almonds.

Good, I like rock fish and lingcod better. I usually toss the bass back, but since we fished along the coast, kept it for the fry.

Made pork belly tacos tonight. Picked up the belly at the Pork Shop.

Went out a few days ago to fish calico bass and anything else out of Channel Islands. Ended up killing it with 3 big fish for the win. Did a fish fry over labor day weekend.

Powder is all out of country, we need to learn the covid lesson and move more powder mfg into the US. This goes for medication etc...

Labor day bbq, 3 baby back ribs and a pork belly on the smoker! Came out great! Had homemade scalloped potatoes and corn on the cob, with some tastey Kern River IPAs!!!!
