I wore my First Lite Kanabs out this past weekend in 37b, no issue. But I didn't walk thru the thick stuff. I have a few rips in them from past hunts, so these are my dedicated desert pants. I have Kuiu for north country.

Repair pole and box and send GnF a bill. Never ran into a ox that was like that. Maybe call rhe office and ask then give them the bill.

For catclaw and cactus in Az use carhartt double fronts. For all else I habe.first lite in asat and kuiu in vias. I like the new kuiu chinook line. Good for me up to high 70s very low 80s. I preordered the kuiu alpime pant for warmer weather. I buy most of my either down or synthetic layers from non hunting places Better prices and generally warmer / more fill. I would not be runnimg these thru catclaw etc. I have first lite kanab pants in wool and are nice and ligh. They are coming out with a new synthetic pant. I am moving from first lite asat to kuiu vias. I like the vias pattern better for breakup. All my base layer wool is first lite. I think its better tban kuiu as its all wool and not any other materials. 100% wool reduces stink factor. I buy 1 or 2 shirts in camo wool from either maker as my outrr layer. Both companies have great clothes, insulation layers and rain gear. Pick a camo n or mix and match. Check kuiu forum for discussion on az clothes some peetty recent posts.

Carhartt double fronts. Catclaw, stickers and cactus rip up almost anything and have used carhartts past 7 years or so down south.

I have berger vld 168 for my 7mm rem mag. I started using nosler accubond long range 168 recently and its flatter shooting. I like the accubond, I have heard issues with berger vld in animals from friends. I have not had any issues. I moved to nossler for balistic advantage as well as the performance in animals.

Found a new app to use, was using Strelok. Bulletflight (Military Version), for apple or android, paid version is $29.00. I have used yet, heard good things. They have other version for less money.
