Im in Queen Creek amd with my GMRS HT inside my office with a bunch of PCs, monitors, cabinets etc and i can hit Crown King 575 amd 600 repeaters really well. I use aftermarket antennas and not the rubber duck they come with. Chirp is easy and lots of GMRS repeaters are private/clubs. Get on mygmrs.com and start searching and asking owners permission
