Wow, I now we have ocean guys here, good kit for fishing here.

Leave an orange hat or laminate a sign says hunting next to hat. As longs I have been inside the State Trust Land area, never had issue. Probably not going to mess with trucks, but a prius next to the sign deserves a ticket regardless.

if you wool is not the appropriate cam color, you wont find any critters, that there is the LAW! Smartwool, minus33, darntough for socks.

I know, I paid it LOL. I have done the processing at home on fish, just need time and space. A good vacuum sealer or vacuum chamber is best. Seems to be the flash freezing does preserve them longer and keeps good taste. I have an upright freezer I can put fish on racks, to get air moving around to freeze, but never is fast enough. I have brought tuna back in fish bags and eating sashimi for days off it. Then parted it out and froze. I bought an Opah Fathom 5 deep a year or so ago, always bring on trips incase I decide to bring home fish to process ie tuna sashimi or so.

Here are the charges for my fish. The charges to your account: Processing Fee: $70.00 Collar: $8.00 Box Fee: $35.00 Shipping Fee: $64.73 Total: $177.73

Depends on the thickness of bags you get $1.50 for 3mm, $1.60 for 5mil. $4.00 for collars etc.... Shipping was $60.00. I go fishing to fish and have fun. If I counted all the expenses, just like hunting, I would go to Costco. Gas prices suck now and wasn't 100% sure if I would make my Sept trip. Otherwise the processor starts charging storage fees. Usually I play the pickup game on various trips or vacation to So Cal and I make a longer detour to pickup fish. I do like the 5 mil bags for longer storage, I sometimes don't eat it all up in few months. Holds really well in chest freezer.

I got my fished shipped from 5 star fish processing on Thursday. Drop off weight was 50lbs, processed was 21lbs. Fish was in great shape. Time for some good eats!

Lol thats great, finally truth in advertising.

the bang/fetch has to be rewarding for the dog, that is the association/bond that develops. if the dog knows that a bang and fetch/pickup is good, then they dont care about the noise. My lab would freak if I dropped a fork or knife on the tile, and split, but I could shoot the gauge over his head with no issues. Get to the point where they wont move if nothing falls to the ground for them to pickup. I would be on the boat blasting but the dog would sit on the bow until told to go. I did the noises during feeding, also would play hunting videos with lots of shots while I played fetch in the house. Then progressed to the outside.

I fish the Sierras in Cali and this has been going on for few years now. Cali GnF have mentioned that this bacteria may even have come from Mexico via birds to Cali and thus now maybe even to us. Not sure how this really spreads, but if its from transplanted CA fish to AZ hatcheries or is it really nature or birds from Mexico? Either way, there are other sources of private hatcheries from outside the state, but expensive to bring in. There is even mention of Big Bear Lake in CA, being moved to more of a warm lake for bass, catfish etc.. and kill off remaining trout.

Did a 6 Pack on Coblat for an overnight trip 6/30, we headed way south of Esenada and did well with Yellowtail and Dorado. Late mornings the wind picked up and took all my balance to throw irons from the bow. Landed 3 YT on mint Tady 45 surface iron, but the bow beat me up. Had a good bunch follow but no takers. I thru a Nomad Riptide, but no takers. Rest of the fish came from fly line bait. We fished our way back to the barn, but nothing to be had. I think our last stop was like 3pm and we didnt get back in until about 9pm. Had a great time and have another trip with Cobalt mid September.

USe a Ballistic Advantage bbl, 8.3" using pistol gas tube. SiCo Omega 300. If you want to build it with options and lock it all down and just go shoot, get an adjustable GB that way its done. You should not have an issue with the above, I run standard gas block. All other upper components I had, so built it with ability to bury the can into handguard. Back in the old days, So California, City of Vernon/Industry where the Farmer John meat plant is/or will be gone soon, there was a burger place called Mike Hockey Burger. Corner of the street, old school diner looking place. He was a hockey player, and made a burger with meat patty and hotdog cut in half put on top of the meat. Called the Hockey Burger. That was the OG burger. This was not to far from the old Sears main distribution/warehouse center.
