As you can see by my for sale ads, I buy and build a lot. So extra parts are always good to have. You will send springs and detents flying, have fun finding them. Midwest Industries makes great solid handguards for a great price. They are not a cheap place as in China crap. I have almost all my builds are MI handguards (combat rail), else the uppers where factory built. Don't buy cheap lower parts kits, you will find they may not all be in spec. I have some for sale that I use in my builds and are good quality. If you are going to build, get quality uppers, BCM, Aero Precision are great. Get magpul armorers wrench, midwest industries upper receiver rod and armorer's block they are blue. Get Obsidian Arms punches/roll pins and their bolt catch tools. For buffer tube look at 7075 only, Springs any milspec is good and if you need to tune them, Sprinco Blue springs and some H2 buffers weights. Good luck and have fun.
