Admins - seems with the advent of Covid there has been on onslaught of scammers and 1st time posters to the classified section. I know with other forums, there is a minimum post that need to be made before a person can post in the classifieds section. I know that we are cautions but, I have seen too many 1st post selling guns, and then there is our famous friends in texas that seem to have or want everything. There was new person from Tucson just posted in the Campfire Section, introduced themselves etc... I know we are not backpage or armslist with all that crap going on, but seems like we are getting more of our fair share. Andrew

i learned to buy them in lots of 2. I have had them within 7 months, to just over a year. I guess if you give one of them a handy in the copy room, it might speed up the approval. Provided your handy was stellar.

it is not newbies, everyone starts out as one. but with contributions on posts, helping out on hunts etc... post build up. The issue is the scammer/spammers posting a fake sale or wanting to take your money. I belong to rokslide, ar15 and others and all seem to have some sort of post control for classifieds. will that weed out all the scammers/spammers, no it wont, will it do a majority, heck yah. Even the OG fammed AZ Bass Zone had spammers and crap. I loved the post of someone selling fishing rods leaning up against the table and people would ask how much for the table, what does the couch GPS at, etc...funny sheeets. CWT is more localized forum and is more open to all, but that invites the riff raff in.

just got my tax refund back, but the auctions closed. that sucks, missed out again. Next year I will be ready.
