Throat is a little different for dimensional change on case. Pressures change and wylde if handloading can be more accurate.

California did this crap with AR15, they called them assault weapons there, if you want to keep them in a normal regular condition, you register it as an AW, if you mod it to keep it from having pistol grip, adjustable stocks etc.. then those are just ar15s. YOu cant register something that doesnt have original paper work tied to your name.

I doubt we will ever see the low prices again. Mfg's are already indicating price increases this year. The price of ammo is an individual persons threshold to buy. To them dollar per round is a great deal if they dont have any 556, or 9mm. This is similar to hosuing prices when people pay way over asking price for a house, get into a bidding war, becuase to them that was a great deal for that house at what ever price.
