    Activists in the draw

Before September 29th, 2012 the AZGFD like every other state agency was full of covered employees, after that date a good portion of AZGFD employees lost their covered status and every state employee that has been hired since except law enforcement are uncovered. If you ever interview for an AZGFD job regardless of what you're interviewing for there are three mandatory questions and one of those questions directly relates to your outdoor experience and if you have any issues with that segment of the public.

    Riggs flat lake

Rumor has it Riggs Flat Lake has been stocked twice this year with a little over 10,000 rainbow trout and will hopefully get some more trout in August and September if water quality is good, but if you want to know for sure what is going on try calling the AZGFD hatchery that actually stocks that lake.

Where's The CC Hit Time Thread

With 2019 breaking a new record for applicants and what seems to be a high number of credit card issues I wouldn't be surprised to see the deadline to update extended.

    Super Raffle tag buck...

Plain and simple for me, if I had a mule deer tag in my pocket no way I shoot that buck guaranteed ticket if you do. If I had a whitetail tag BOOM all day long, and if I had an any antlered deer tag BOOM all day long.

    Kids camps

Have your buddy look at pages 22-27 in the hunt regulations, it lists every kind of hunting camp offered.

    Hunter’s Big Chance 2019

Good deal. I'm curious how these donated tags are allocated? Is there a pool of qualified kids and vets and they call based on your name on the list? Does the tag donor have a say in who gets the tag? Is it the organization such as the OE4A who makes the decision?

Bullies of the range! Well written!

No matter what coarse of action any of those agencies take it will end up tied up in lawsuits and courts for years.

    Turkeys gobbling

    They're open

    Youth turkey unit 6b

Most of the roads opened today, if you plan on hunting 5A that may be an issue. The roads from clints well to flagstaff are open and the roads from flagstaff south on I-17 are open and I believe the major roads into 6B are open

    Regulations

I didn't watch the commission meeting yesterday but I assume they passed the commission orders for the upcoming fall hunts. I would now guess that the regulations will be online by the end of April and the paper regs will be available by mid May.

    Trail Cam BAN

If the commission is heck bent on banning trail cams they will eventually find a reason that they all can agree upon, actually Davis really only needs to turn one vote his way he only needs 2 other votes.

    How bout them Devils!

Didn't their hockey team make the tournament?

Shooting of a road in AZ on YouTube.

That "Road" in the video looks pretty decent but in Arizona the AZGFD defines "Road" as means any maintained right-of-way for public conveyance. I'm not sure if that road would be considered a maintained right-of-way for public conveyance or not, so did he break the law or ethics?

He must have really wanted that tag because with 26 points he could have had any tag in the state

    Pronghorn Hits?

In the bonus pass the 2018 first archery hunt went to someone with 15 points and the second hunt went to someone with 12.

    Pronghorn Hits?

the 2018 tag in the BP went to someone with 19 points

22 Non- Residents had 15+ BPs

Actually there is no non-resident pool, up to but no more than 10% of the tags can go to non-residents. A few years back they changed it to no more than 5% goes to non-residents in the bonus pass and the other 5% goes into the random pass where anyone can get those tags, so if there was 225 tags for the hunt number only 11 tags were available to non-residents.
