Arizona cypress. Once established, they'll require little water. Very hardy for our arid state.

I've seen antelope in the mixed conifer above 7500' up on the Rim. Just never know anymore.

I hope it's me! The irony with all the money I've entered, I could have just bought the item by now!! I don't mind tho. All these different raffles I enter all go to a good cause -
Impressive bucks! Welcome!

Love the x=7 answer!! I literally laughed out loud!

I'm in! Someday, one of these raffles will come thru for me! Lol -
No tag for me so I'll be joining my best friend and his son. Looking forward to spending some time in the elk woods!

Doesn't matter if you exclude X amount of people every year. They'll just be replaced with new applicants. More people, more apps. Nothing we can do about it. Arizona population: 1980: 2,718,215 1990: 3,665,228 2000: 5,130,632 2010: 6,392,017 2020(projection): 7,300,000

Had an elk roast and decided to try something different. Cut roast into thin slices and marinated for 48 hours. Grilled on the BBQ. Added a bed of rice with peas and carrots and a cold beer. Came out great! Make sure to tenderize the slices, otherwise they'll be a little tough.

Like last year, maybe April will be wet. Here's what it looked like on my 2015 turkey hunt last April!

Good. Hope it cools down a bit. I'm re-doing my backyard landscape and could use some cooler temps! By the way, I think my math is wrong. Removed a bunch of grass so I now have about 2,000 square feet area to be filled in with landscape rock. 1/2" rock at 2" deep, calculator says I need 16 tons! .

Blah! I've moved on. So.......when are deer apps due?
-
I did the same thing, I have enough points to draw 3C archery finally and this year is the 9th. Last year I helped a buddy who had the tag and it started on the 11th, was hot and a late rut. Next year it starts on the 15th, I've waited this long. Card was hit for one tag but probably my wife's cow. I put in early rifle. Kent Hmmm....interesting. Didn't think about the later dates next year. I now have enough points to draw a specific hunt. Still bummed, but this eases the sting of not drawing this year.
-
They probably moved from pending to actual charges.
-
It's pretty much over. Any charges now will be from the reject list as they move onto the next guy in line. I'm pretty bummed. Oh well, what can you do?
-
Looks like another year without an elk tag.

I was hunting same time chasing bull in my avatar but we never connected. Yeah, same here. I made a ton of mistakes. I was so jacked up, I just kept messing up. It was a comedy of errors. Lol Learned a lot of what not to do! Hopefully redemption this year!

What's the best way to sell an ex's personal belongings? Hypothetically speaking, of course.
-
Couldn't wait any longer so had to submit my vacation request at work as the board was filling up for September. Guaranteed I jinxed my odds now.

Emphasize to your son that turkey hunting requires one to wake up early. Very early!! Of all the big game hunts I've been on, turkey is by far the earliest wake up for me. Depending on where your spot is relative to your camp, make sure to be there well before dawn. Our camp usually gets up at 3:15am and at our spot by 4:30. 3:15am wake ups start to wear me down after a couple days!
-
Yup. I need to sell something, but I'm going to wait a few weeks! Lol

Meanwhile, we can all band together and save Sylvester! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/africaandindianocean/southafrica/12207008/Sylvester-the-stealth-lion-escapes-for-the-last-time.html
