I don't have a problem with it. I won't give exact coordinates, but I don't mind helping a guy/gal out by putting them in a general area to start. We're all busy, money is tight, work schedules, kids.......life sometimes takes over and it's hard to break away a couple times a month. And if that person never posts again, oh well. Never know when your time on earth is up. Your hunting spots won't do you any good in Heaven!

My beard comes in with too much gray. Since my head hair is still mostly brown, the gray beard just doesn't look right, so I only sport the classic goatee. Weird how a persons facial hair can carry so much more gray compared to head hair. You'd think they'd change color the same time! Lol

Every year it seems to get worse. Won't be long before trail cams are banned from waterholes, tanks, seeps, springs...etc. Something to the effect of "no cameras within 1/4 mile from any water source". New laws go on the books every year and this wouldn't shock me!

Don't want to hijack this thread, but I had an awesome time. Chased a toad buck for 8 days, but never sealed the deal. In hindsight that was a mistake as I focused on that one buck. I lost sight of the calendar and passed on some good bucks. Before I knew it, the season was over. Still one of the best hunts I've had! Lance, thanks again for sharing this great hunt! I'm envious!

I've never applied in other states, so I did a quick google search on application fees for a couple western states. Some of those regs are confusing!! Anyways, just a quick look I found the following app fees: Wyoming: $5 res, $14 non-res Idaho: $6.25 res, $14.75 non-res Nevada: $10, $15 for elk. $3 predator management fee. $2 res online convenience fee, $3.50 non-res Utah: $10. $5 predator fee(not sure if that's applied to everyone) Colorado: $3 app fee. $10 habitat stamp.(required) Anyways....I may be incorrect in a few. Like I said, some of those regs are confusing! Not defending the app fee increase proposal, but just throwing out some comparisons from our neighbors.

I believe that's the Rock Creek fire east of Whiteriver. Last report was 1000+ acres and very active.

Another vote for Verizon. I've had a signal in some surprising places! Good reception on the Rim also. Expensive, but reliable. My brother has AT&T and uses my phone to check in with his family when we're deep off-trail in the desert.
