Thanks. They have the price list out and its still $80 for an assistant permit. Ive heard last year wasnt great in 10, biggest buck was around 86. Supposed to be similar this year. Ive point guarded my application so if i draw it and dont find a few I like i can turn it back in.I don't know about the other bucks killed but if 86 inchers were dying I wouldnt classify that as "not very good" that's comparable to a 390-395 bull being killed.

I think outdoorsmans is such a big company with so many dedicated customers I'm not sure Amanda is gonna be able to do anything to hurt them. Better off trying something on Google with reviews or BBB or something if they screwed you.

I seen some bucks two weeks ago in 3A that looked pretty big in they had shed already. Do they all shed every year?I always assumed they all shed them but I really don't know. Maybe they were confused this year since winter never showed up haha. I know my dad saw a big buck in 4b in November with a group of does and then about a month later he saw the same group in the same spot and he could tell one was the buck but he said he shrunk. So I guess he dropped or possibly was a different buck but I'd bet he just shed them recently.

Someone on Facebook posted this but wanted to see if anyone could confirm it. I know several Americans running outfits and even more that just go down and guide people in sonora. If it's true and they start cracking down there's gonna be a lot of guys in trouble. Supposedly been the law forever but they are now enforcing it.

Figured that may be the case. They haven't cared in the past and suddenly do care about enforcing it. Will be interesting to see if they are actually enforcing it because if they are lots of dudes going down. But like you said if it's the law it's the law either way.

Finally got some snow in the high country and we were able to get out and chase some cats! We got our own dogs this year and this was our first track to give them a try. We cut this track early and it still had snow in it. After moving slow for about a mile they kicked him up hot and treed him within a couple hundred yards. Ended up being a nice sized tom. My dad has been wanting to kill one for a while but things never quite worked out until today. Congrats dad!

I'm so mad I don't even remember what we were fighting about. Only one I've ever truly disliked was that rifleman dude. He was nuts. Life on coues wouldn't be as exciting without a little arguing and name calling. Keeps things going during the slow times. Who's that coues33 dude by the way? I think its awesome. AZ got their elk herd in a similar way way back when from Wyoming. We have plenty of elk to go around so it's not gonna hurt anything.

I have a pair of vortex razor 12x50 binos for sale. Have used them regularly the last three years. They have always been kept in a kuiu bino harness but have signs of wear on them. They were sent back to vortex about 6 months ago and got a makeover and cleaned up with new ocular lenses. The objective lenses have small scratches but vortex didn't replace them because they claimed it had no effect on the optical quality. Comes with eye piece and objective lens covers.
