Unit 22 is one of the best bear units in the state.

I never feel any sorrow or sympathy for a suffering animal. What I do feel is a strong urge to end the suffering, not because the animal might be suffering, but because that completes the challenge of killing an animal. I think there is way too much Political Correctness in hunting today. The whole idea of Hunter Education preaching to our kids that we don't kill, but we harvest animal is total BS. I harvest Pumpkins and corn not animals! If you cant come to grips with the idea that you KILLED an animal maybe you need to find a new sport. As far as laughing, I see nothing wrong with it. Heck, most of the funerals you go to now a days they tell funny stories so you can remember the person in a good light instead of in pain. Respect for the animal is much more than if you laugh or don't laugh. It comes down to the hard work you put into the hunt and using all edible parts of the animal. And I do say a little prayer after I kill an animal, it usually goes like this: "Lord, please let me get this animal back to the truck safely, and let the back straps melt in my mouth when I get home."

We all pay tax dollars to use public land, and we are all entitled to go where we want. Several times I have gone to the end of the road where I intended to hike to my glassing spot only to find another truck or quad there. Why should my hunt be stopped just because someone else is there? Who knows what that other person is doing? They may be scouting for a later hunt, they may be spotters for some high priced guide, or they may be walking the ridges and canyons trying to spook up a deer in hopes of seeing it. If I walk up to my spot to glass and they are sitting in the exact spot I want to glass I will usually ask them what there plan is. I will usually move a little away from them and set up to glass. Who knows if these guys are good glassers or weekend warriors with high priced optics? You might see something they don't see, and vice versa. I have never been taught that just because I park at the end of the road I am entitled to the entire area at the end of the road... It's called public land for a reason.

So when can we hunt them?

It keeps kicking me out and I have to start over... Ugh! And here I thought all you game and fish lovers promised me if I didn't wait until the last day I wouldn't have any problems. I seriously don't understand how they continue to screw this up!

I don't know why you even need a license? I have never seen a game and fish officer in the field in my 15 years of hunting. Do they actually get out and work the units? Anyone ever seen one?

Wrong! If they don't find it, and it bleaches out, it belongs to the first one who finds it. Screw the poachers at AZGFD! You are an idiot if you cal G&F to report a kill...

Or if this kid is actually cited, he can turn around and sue the department for wrong doing in the investigation and receive $100,000 from the tax payers and have the whole crime swept under the rug, like the Wildlife Officer who poached the elk.

The criminal fines for killing a Jaguar is $50,000 and the civil fines are $25,000 I think the hunters of this State are owed some money from the department!
