Real pitching duel at Packard tonight... AZ 10 - ASU 9
-
Anyone recommend a place to store my Ranger and trailer in the Payson area? I live down south and would like to keep it up there for the month prior to the hunt so I'm not continuously pulling it up the hill for my scouting trips and hunt.

We all saw the 18th deadline... But then Game and Fish posted on their website this morning that the results were up and ready... Well they weren't. If your gonna say something...stick to it. They took down the results are up message after about 1000 complaints.

I just talked to a nice lady at the Tucson office, she said they had to pull down the phone and web system, because it was giving out wrong results.
-
Call your local office and let them hear that you are sick of this... Do it right or don't do it at all.

Email this article Printer friendly page The draw results for Arizona’s 2014 elk and pronghorn antelope big game hunts are now available by visiting https://az.gov/app/huntdraw/home.xhtml and scrolling down to the “View results and bonus points” link. Applicants can also find out if they were drawn by calling (602) 942-3000 and selecting option two. There were more than 140,000 applicants for this year’s elk/pronghorn antelope draw for hunts or bonus points, and 26,041 tags were issued. The total number of applications, including those submitted on paper and online, was approximately 109,440. Hunt permit-tags for successful applicants, and refunds for unsuccessful or rejected applicants/applications (less application fees), are expected to be mailed out by April 18, pursuant to Arizona Game and Fish Department Hunting and Trapping Regulations. There are about 121 leftover elk tags, available for purchase on a first-come first-served basis by mail (beginning April 21) or in person (beginning April 28). These leftover tags are a good option for hunters who missed the draw deadline or were not drawn for the hunt(s) for which they applied. A list of leftover tags is available online at www.azgfd.gov/draw and will be available for purchase by mail or in person as follows: By mail - Applications submitted by mail will be accepted by the department beginning April 21, 2014, and must be mailed to Arizona Game and Fish Department, Attn: Draw/First Come, 5000 W. Carefree Highway, Phoenix, AZ 85086. Please do not mail applications to any PO Box. In person – Beginning at 8 a.m., April 28, 2014, hunters may purchase leftover tags and submit their applications in person at any of the seven Arizona Game and Fish Department offices. Some of the leftover elk tags are for Hopi hunt open areas and are available to everyone, both tribal members and non-tribal members, through the first-come first-serve process. For those who qualify, there are also some leftover elk tags for military hunts at Camp Navajo; contact www.campnavajo.com or call (602) 540-3873 for additional information on Camp Navajo hunts. I was just at Walmart in Tucson this morning and they had model 700 in 243,270,7mm on clearance for $399. I think this was the last day of the clearance sale.
