Seen a lot of cows still up high. They're r runnin around all day. Pressure I suppose. It is the last elk hunt for 8 right? If it gets colder or snows it would look in transition areas Goodluck!

Nice bucks. Congrats! -
Thanks all. Should have seen the buck my grandpa missed.... yes in 8. It was very dry n a lil warm. We did an evening hunt lower in the cedars out west. Alota sheep n cows. Gotta be up threre again the 30th for an elk hunt. Brrrrrrr.. yes the smaller buck was a headshot. Lol. Said he was tryna salvage as much meat as possible. Haha yea... the other took a ham shot n one that went thu the front leg into the heart/lung. N one that took off a g2.

got these two bucks the opening morning. my grandfather missed the big one of the herd. a 160-170 non typical. could have been 3 for 3 opening morning. hunted a herd that kept sneakin into private land with another really nice buck in it the rest of the trip, sunday was spent watching football, playin horseshoes, a few cold ones and an evening scouting for an upcoming Elk hunt. missed church but who needs it when ur in God's country. lol

my grandfather and uncle have muley tags for early nov. we have hunted this unit for years but never got drawn for this deer hunt. (we are primarily archery hunters) so we usually hunt 8 in august and sept for muleys, WT, turkey, bear, and if blessed w an elk tag. i was thinking of scouting the western part of the unit before the hunt. i.e.. Welch rd almost down to drake/perkinsville. ive never hunted this side of the unit and any info would help a ton before i lace my boots up n get behind some glass. for those generous enough to help out i can return the favor of exchanging info about hunting 8 or some of the units around the prescott area. 17b 18b 20a 20c. of coarse detailed info should and will be sent via P.M. thanks guys also, my uncle has a nov/dec rifle bull elk hunt. so ill be multi-tasking. or i should say multi-glassing. still concentrating the western side of the unit. any info would be greatly appreciated and kept confidential. thanks again. shoot straight!

Hello all! i am Alex Romero. a 24y.o. Tattooer out of Phoenix. i have been professionally tattooing for six years now. i have traveled all over the U.S. tattooing at numerous tattoo and body art conventions. i have won awards for my work. i have been surfing around CWT for some time now and finally decided to get a profile going. i have been an avid archery hunter since i was able to pull back the ol' stick and string. i have my grandfather to thank for getting me into the sportsmans life. i am a father of one beautiful daughter who tells me to be nice to the deer when i go hunting. she is my heart and soul!!! i am the middle of two brothers, one who also hunts and one who was born with cerebral palsy who i would like to get into hunting(there are some awesome opportunites for challenged hunters). i am a very family oriented person who will go beyond what is asked to help others out. as many may think of a tattooer as a party hearty no good rotten scum bag, i believe i am the total opposite from that. i take my tattooing very serious, for me there is still a very sacred element to the process. i am bloodbourne pathogen certified and EMT-b certified. (i was in the the GCC fire program.) i would LOVE to do some Ariozna wildlife tattoos to those who are willing. thanks for your time! hope to see some of you soon bigAL. 6234188858 https://www.facebook.com/bigAL3139
