I'm going to go 110 plus just because of his frame. can't tell if he's a 2 point or not on a side, but a frame like that's going to put him at 110 or better.

Nice spotting scope

I don't know about the mp6, but the mp8 is a great camera. I've been running them for 2 years and haven't had a problem in the least. Good luck with your camera. I like the comment someone said about emptying your sidearm into it. LOL

Good gear, but beware of their return department. It's the worst I've ever dealt with. The way they handle credits for returns is downright scary and the most backwords it could possibly be done. Make sure you order the right size stuff from the get go. Could be months before your return is processed. By that time your hunt could be over. Again good gear but a total f for their return department.

Another kabab story from 2008. I was guiding a couple hunters on the west side. We were going back to camp when i noticed a minimum 200 richer rutting about 80 yards from the road. We pulled over and stared at the buck to make sure he was a 200 inches cause that's what the clients minimum was. After 4 minutes of judging him we all came to the conclusion he was a 205 type buck and pounded him a little high. The buck went down and didn't even kick a leg. We sat there in awe of just how lucky we just were for at least 5 minutes. I went up the hill in plain sight to the giant laying there motionless and just downright smoked and ready for the wall. I got to the buck and started counting points and yelled down the hill "he's def going to go 205 to 210. The client asked me to lift his head out of the brush so he could stare through the bins at him. While lifting the deer from the bases of both his horns the deer came to life and stood up right in my hands and put his ears back and wanted a piece of me for sure. I backed up yelling for the client to shoot immediately, but the client being ultra safe wasn't going to take the chance of shooting anywhere near me. The hole under his back was the size of a softball but the buck was able to run just a little slower than i was. Twice the giant turned around to square off with me while chasing him. Long story short the buck out winded me and ran parrallel to the main road and we lost him. While looking for him along the road a black jeep pulled over with no shot fired and quickly loaded a buck and drove off fast. I assume with no shot fired that they had seen the dead buck laying next to the road and quickly performed a pathetic act all in the name of bragging rights and took the buck. It's amazing what some people will go to, to be famous in the hunting world. And to think it's gotten 10 times worse since then in just 8 years time span. Being a fake in the hunting world is now the norm and most buy into all the dog and pony shows hook line and sinker. If people only new how full of it half the look at me's out there are it would blow their minds, honestly!!!

I absolutely pounded this super giant buck with a 308 at less than 150 yards still hunting that morning. Deer was across a small drainage and went down hard immediately. Stood there for 3 or 4 minutes watching him and started over to him. When i got to 10 yards the buck somehow got up and struggled with all his might and went 10 yards to the top of the hill he was just underneath. He hadn't gone 10 yards and i heard a boom from literally where he was standing. Buck dropped and rolled right back to me downhill.. Ended up there was an indian standing there clenching his open sight rifle like no one i have ever seen. He spoke very broken english and kept saying "my buck", "my buck". I was to young to understand what to do or what not to do. My shot was perfectly placed with a huge hole and the indian could clearly see where all the blood was just 10 yards away where he was laying originally but it didn't matter to him , and the way he was clenching his rifle made me nervous to put it lightly. if it was now i would have run up and thrown my tag on the deer and argued later. Shot the 221 buck just 20 minutes later after loosing the 3rd biggest deer I've seen to this day. The 221 buck was tiny compared to the other buck though and still haunts me to this day. Oh well!!!

Late kaibab rifle back in 1988. Learning how to hunt from my dad and we all had tags. After several tutorials from pops and trying learn something, got out of the truck in middle sowats and hiked in for a trial run. Dad flanked me about 500 yards away. All of a sudden a 201 buck bounded towards me from my dads direction. Ended up shooting him at 10 yards running directly at me. Good ole dad taught me well. 5 years later and not so wet behind the ears knowledge wise after turning into a hunting addict, on the early hunt back on the kaibab dad dropped me off again but up in the burnt corral area. 1 hour later I was standing over a 221 buck after shooting a mid 230s buck and having it taken from me from another hunter. 2 bucks in one hour over 220 to 235. Love it when my dad drops me off, and feel lucky when he does every time.

I'm blown away that buck scores 90 plus. I guess being within 10 inches is pretty good, lol. Does anyone happen to know how long he was since he's been ground checked? I've always been within 2 inches on a goats gross score, but i must say i don't think i could have misjudged one worse. This is a buck worth learning from , and i wish someone on here had all his measurements to post for learning purposes sake!!

13.5 for length and awesome mass, and i'm coming up with 80 inches. Really really cool looking buck.

Never done a leftover before, and thinking about given it a whirl. Do all the leftovers normally get issued in the draw everyone on this post is waiting for, or are there leftovers left after , that you can just go down a purchase.

The older age class deer are right on par for their growth in my opinion. I had a deer on the 16th of july thats pushing the high 90's with even the g3's being 3 or 4 inches and the main beams being far past the g3s.

Not really as long as you have the proper means to treat it. As long as you can treat all forms of bacteria, viruses, protozoa, etc. you can generally drink anything. That usually involves a filter and chlorine drops, a filter and a Steripen, etc. I would pass on a pond with half decayed carcasses in it unless it was an ABSOLUTE emergency and there was no other water source, but supposedly you can tap any resource with the proper means to treat it. I tested the guardian twice so far on a couple overnight backpacking trips. Super smooth system and pumps a lot of water per stroke. I was really impressed. Hope this helps.

In new mexico the bulls scream really well from what i've witnessed from being there for at least 8 rut cycles all the way through october 10 th. Then it starts to slow down pretty quickly.

If your hunting water there's a super high chance of the jump. 3 years ago i had a 120 buck come in back to back days on water, and both times he pulled an absolute matrix move on my shot and both were under 30 yards. Head down and drinking looking away and grazzed him both times. I agree on the aim in the lower third of the body, cause when a coues buck loads up to run it's amazing how low the get on the spring.

It's all good bro. Just an fyi, the sitka hoody size is made to fit over other stuff. If you order an xxl in the hoody be prepared for it to be big on you, maybe really big. If you think your an xxl you might be an xl in the sitka hoody the way its sized. -

I have a kelvin down hoody for sale in the classified forum. Brand new tags attached. I have 2 of them ,so i'm selling the extra one i havent been using. The hoody is super warm when it's super cold. You literally dont have to wear anything underneath it. Very water resistant but not waterproof. Comes with a stuff sack also so it packs down to very little space in your backpack. Can't speak for the other jacket you mentioned, just the hoody. -
