  1. Selling a Weatherby Mark V Ultra Lightweight in .270 Win. It is just like the one that first comes up on the Weatherby link below. Rifle has been hunted for two years. Shows some very light wear: Minor rubbing in bluing on front of bottom metal, also paint is lightly rubbed at the back of the cheek piece and on the bottom of grip. Less than 100 rnds through it. Comes with the Talleys pictured. Last one sold for $1200 on Gunbroker so that is what I am asking. In Tucson near downtown/campus. Can email more pics kentbarter@yahoo.com Thanks, Kent Rifle specs are in the link below. http://www.weatherby.com/mark-vr-ultra-lightweight.html

    257 Weatherby Mag

257 Weatherby Mag Mark V with a Leupold VX3, 4.5X14 (30mm tube) with wind and elevation turrets, mounted on 1 piece aluminum Tally rings. Comes with RCBS 3 die set (sizing die, neck sizing die, bullet seating die), case holder for press, 35+ handloaded rounds in hard case, 45 unfired brass, remaining Berger bullets, 2 1/2 boxes of factory ammo. Data is dialed in to 700 yards. $2500 Firm on price.
  3. Another one of my custom rifles up for sale... This custom build started as a Weatherby Mark V Ultra Lightweight factory model (from the factory it weighs under 6lbs) in the .257 Weatherby cartridge ($2,100 MSRP...no I didn't pay retail...who does that). I stripped the fluted #2 contour factory barrel (still have it if you want it) and had a Shilen match barrel installed, the receiver was blue printed, bolt face was trued and lugs lapped, stock was then glass bedded, then added a Timney trigger, a 20 MOA rail, Talley rings and to top it off I just mounted the Nightforce 5.5-22x56 scope with the NPR-1 illuminated reticle to sweeten the deal. Awesome deer rifle, flat shooter, shoots sub 1/2" groups with Weatherby factory ammo and my custom loads. (It loves the Barnes 115g TSX bullets (devastating when they hit animals). $3,000 for the full set up PLUS over 150 brass (some are brand new-never even prepped, all brass are factory Weatherby), RCBS dies and just under 100 of the 115 TSX bullets I have left. Call with questions, thanks for looking... Ric 602-330-4664
