No offense taken..... A sheep hunt is rarely a solo effort. I definitely had help from scouting, research, taking care of the household stuff and many other countless efforts..... DIY was to point out no hired guns/guides - just friends and family doing what we love, and close the deal with an awesome trophy!!!

Yes it is, giant Ram,

I've had help plenty of times and I would hope that if I ever draw I'll get friends to come out.  I've seen some of those guys before and they can be straight killers, good as any guides. :0

Sheep is a team effort for sure. Congrats again

Nice write up, I would have lost my chit when that case separated. Insane it came out, nice job! Looks like a heck of a ram.

My ability to convey the utter chaoticness of the situation is an understatement. It was a very high stress moment :)

trust me..... hornaday brass is no longer used. I was lucky to acquire some ADG brass. hopefully, i never incur another head/case separation!!! A special shot out to Bullwidgeon as he was the buddy in my write up!!

I've never seen a case separation on anything other than 223. Which happened a few times to me when I had a Contender.
