PRDATR Report post Posted June 28 The Legalis 1000 is a smooth reel. I have one on an ultralight I have used for probably 5 years. I like it better than the Shimano Sedona as it is smoother. I use them both for Trout on Shakspeare 4'6" graphite rods with 4&6# test. I have a 2500 Stella I also use but it is on a 6'6 St Croix with 8# test I also use for trout but it is a bit overkill. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
