goat73 Report post Posted Thursday at 03:36 AM Hey all, I need to work on a load for a .375 Ruger that I'm planning to take on a black bear hunt. I know it's over the top for black bear, but they're mixed with grizzlies so I'd like to have a stout rifle with me. Let me know if you have any .375 bullets (projectiles) so I can work on developing a load. At this point, I haven't bought anything but am considering a Cutting Edge 235gr ER Raptor, North Fork PP 300 gr, Nosler Accubond, or a Hawk 300gr round tip x .035 jacket. I was considering a solid copper bullet, but I'm not sure that's a good idea in case I want to take a longer shot; they don't seem to expand so well at distance. If anyone has other suggestions, I'm open for input.
