deserttacoma84 Report post Posted August 30 Hello! We're looking for social opportunities for our 9 year old, either through clubs, volunteer programs, and/or a church youth group. He's not into sports. Does anyone have recommendations for programs in the following: -Lego -Robotics -Space/science -STEM -Swim team (only sport He's interested in) -Book club/reading -Small church youth group (not interested in CCV) -Volunteering group Hunting or outdoor clubs, an alternative to the boy scouts unless someone can vouch for a solid troop. Anything recommendations are appreciated! Thanks!
Shane.A.Luke Report post Posted August 30 There are several JOAD clubs around Phoenix https://www.azjoad.com/main/youth_clubs.htm . My sons loved it at that age. My focus was for them to learn archery for hunting not become Olympic target archers. They are now 17 and 19 and both have killed big game with a bow. Those experiences gave them confidence as most other teens had never done that.
