You could do what my wife and a friend of ours did and donate it to (Outdoor Experience For All). It's a very simple process, just print this form: https://outdoorexperienceforall.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/2023-OE4A-Transfer-Affidavit.pdf and then mail it (filled out) and the tag to the address on the form.
