CatfishKev Report post Posted 11 hours ago I know that some callers have an option to hook an external speaker to the unit but when you do that does that automatically cancel out the speaker on the call and only use the external speaker or does it actually use both the internal speaker of the call plus the speaker you hooked up to it? Basically what I'm asking is if I have a cheaper Fox pro unit that hooks to a speaker can I make it louder or am I limited to the speaker that I hook up to it as far as how loud it can be? trphyhntr Report post Posted 10 hours ago I don’t have a fox pro, I have an icotec gc500 when I connect the external speaker the speaker on the call doesn’t work.
