levers Report post Posted Friday at 04:54 PM This is a very fine, very early Weatherby rifle. Made in 1949, this rifle is one of the first 200 Weatherby rifles made. Perhaps, worked on by Roy Weatherby himself. The early Weatherbys used a Mauser 98 action and were made in South Gate, California. The recoil pad is the original Weatherby pad.
