Browning Safari (SAKO) / McMillan .243

Recommended Posts

This is a catch and release for me.  I purchased it over the summer thinking I would build something out of it.  It will be years before I get to that, however.
Browning safari (Sako L579 action) chambered in 243 Win.
24" heavyish barrel (.670" Muzzle dia)
1-10 twist.
It is sitting in a Mcmillan Stock.  Doesn't look to have been bedded.
Weighs a little over 9lbs as pictured.

Previous owner said that it shot 70gr Sierras very well.

Very good condition.  Bore looks great.  There is some surface on the right side of the barrel.

$900 Picked up in Catalina, North of Tucson or $975 for the rifle shipped to your FFL.
