LeonelV005 Report post Posted March 9 Just found out about company made hand loaded ammo like Pendleton ammunition. Have been shooting regular factory Hornady stuff and am not interested in doing my own reloading. Is this something that’s worth it and if so what companies do it best? L Cazador Report post Posted March 21 Commercially made ammo is made to fit all chambers so it's woefully short in both length and cartridge base to ogive. You can do much better at home. Another thing is since velocity sells, the brass is not best for reloading if you expect accurate and reliable handloads. Time and again I see reloaders using fired factory ammo brass that wind up with many problems from the overstretched factory ammo brass. In a nutshell you wind up buying ammo that doesn't fit your chamber no matter who makes it.
