FS Savage Rifle all or Part

Recommended Posts

I assembled this rifle a couple years ago with intentions to do a lot of shooting and varmint hunting but unfortunately house projects always take priority. Chambered in 6 x 47 Lapua. 50 rds down barrel and showed great accuracy potential, never did work up a load for it though. Don't have any pictures of targets, but everything was under 1 moa, probably much better. The complete rifle as pictured weighs 8 lbs 1.6oz.

All parts were purchased through Northland Shooters Supply and Stocky's. Will sale complete rifle or part out if there is interest.

Savage Model 10 short action $350.00

-.308 Bolt Face, Fluted Bolt, Titanium Tactical bolt handle with carbon fiber bolt knob, 20 moa scope rail, top bolt release, accutrigger with target spring. 10 Rd magpul aics mag and bottom metal.

Criterion Stainless Match Barrel. $350.00

-Light Varmint, 7.5 Twist rate, 22" long, 6x47 Lapua, 5/8 x 24 muzzle thread for suppressor or brake.

Stocky's VG2 Carbon Fiber Stock $350.00

-Savage Short Action, will work with bottom bolt release or top bolt release, picatinny rail for bipod.

If you want the whole rifle will sale for $1000.00. If you have interest in reloading and buy the complete rifle let me know and we can work out a price for dies, brass, primers, bullets, and powder.

Local pick up, I live in Queen Creek off power and riggs rd. I also work in mesa and could arrange a meet up within reason.

Forgive my ignorance, what other calibers are compatible with the action?

There are quite a few option. It's a standard bolt face. So you can do .308, 6.5 creedmoor, 6 creedmoor, 7mm-08 and a handful of others You can also swap out the bolt face and get different magazines to run others it would just need to be a short action cartridge.
